The Life of the Characters in Chen Tao's Works
Chen Tao, female, formerly known as Yu Sufang, whose real name is Bing Mei. 1920 was born in a poor family in Chengguan Town, Huoqiu County, Anhui Province.

A family of nine, relying only on a small tea stall and a dough mixer put by grandma, struggled through the cold and hunger, stormy sun and moon.

Chen Tao is the second of five brothers and sisters. Because she is very smart since she was a child, her grandmother and parents especially like her, and her family is poor, so she is the only one who goes to school. The low social status and the cold and hunger of the sun and the moon made young Chen Tao understand the joys and sorrows of life and the hardships of his parents. When I come home from school, I often take the initiative to do some housework in the morning and evening to reduce the burden on my family as much as possible.

In primary school, Chen Tao studied hard and studied hard, and was among the best in every exam. At the age of fourteen, she was admitted to Lugeng Girls' High School with excellent results. She cares more about others than herself. Once, on the way home from school, a child accidentally fell into the water. Chen Tao and his classmate Liu Bin tried their best to save him, so that this dying little life turned the corner. The child's parents thanked him, and his classmates, teachers and neighbors highly praised their spirit of being brave. Liu Bin is Chen Tao's best friend, and her parents want to marry her to a landlord. Liu Bin insisted on refusing, but he dared not disobey his marriage. He was in extreme depression. When Chen Tao knew this, he sympathized with Liu Bin. In the face of Liu Bin's parents' generous statements, they publicized the harm of feudal marriage system and encouraged Liu Bin to be strong and get rid of the bondage of family. With the enthusiastic help and support of Chen Tao, Liu Bin finally got up the courage, broke free from the fetters of family arranged marriage, left his hometown and embarked on a revolutionary journey.

At school, Chen Tao united his classmates and teachers with a sense of justice and resisted the pressure of the old forces. On one occasion, Chen Tao and others exposed Ruan Zhongfan, the head teacher, for misappropriating tuition fees. Ruan was disgusted, so he used others to perform progressive dramas, branded them as "ideologically dangerous" and reported to the school that he would be expelled from school. As soon as the news came out, Chen Tao and his classmates reasoned with the school and went on strike. The school had no choice but to withdraw their orders, but had to increase the punishment. With the support of his classmates, Chen Tao refused to give in and resolutely opposed it, so the school was forced to cancel the decision. Soon, she left school angrily and ended her student life.

With the educational help of the underground party organization, Chen Tao took part in the activities organized by the local People's Education Museum after dropping out of school. Organize progressive youth to carry out anti-Japanese national salvation propaganda, lead women to play slogans, shout slogans, sing anti-Japanese national salvation songs and perform anti-Japanese national salvation dramas, arouse the people and join the flood of anti-Japanese national salvation.

Anti-Japanese bonfires burned all over China. At the beginning of 1939, with the strong desire of "every man is responsible for the rise and fall of the world" and seeking women's liberation, Chen Tao joined the 35th working group directly under the Anhui General Mobilization Committee of the Kuomintang Anti-Japanese War (composed of our party cadres and Kuomintang progressives) and devoted himself to the national revolutionary struggle.

Under the leadership of the Party Organization of the 35th Working Group, Chen Tao devoted himself to reading revolutionary books such as Youth Cultivation, On Protracted War and History of Social Development. Because of her hard work and high education, some comrades don't understand paragraphs, words and words. When asking for advice, Chen Tao always explained repeatedly and taught them patiently until they understood. In every discussion, Chen Tao speaks clearly, insightful and inspiring, so everyone likes to listen to her speech.

1In the autumn of 939, Anhui Anti-Japanese War General Mobilization Committee deployed local organizations to raise funds to express condolences to the soldiers ahead. Chen Tao's team went to a remote mountain village for the first time to raise funds and held a meeting to protect the people. Chen Tao made an exciting speech. She talked about the "July 7th" Lugouqiao Incident, the "August 13th Incident" in Shanghai and the Nanjing Massacre from the fall of three northeastern provinces, and described the heinous crimes of burning, killing and looting by the Japanese aggressor troops. When talking about how many parents have lost their beloved children, how many women have lost their dear husbands, and how many children have lost their kind parents by the Japanese invaders, people are extremely angry and burst into tears on stage and off stage. After the meeting, the masses enthusiastically donated money.

I once again raised money in a big market town called "Ma Bu" in Dabie Mountain area. At first, people were attracted by singing and acting, and then people got together to give speeches. Chen Tao's singing is crisp and moving. She sang "Raise warm clothes, please donate, raise tens of millions of warm clothes, the soldiers in front are short of clothes, raise warm clothes for the soldiers to wear …", which deeply touched the hearts of the audience present. Singing and talking, they went to the town to raise money and raised hundreds of dollars and tickets at a time. Among several groups, Chen Tao raised the most money and was praised by the organization.

1940 in may, Chen Tao gloriously joined the China * * * production party. After studying in the teaching brigade run by the Political Department of the Jiangbei Guerrilla Column of the New Fourth Army for more than a month, he was assigned to the Guangxingji area of Anhui Province to persist in the struggle. The reactionary forces are rampant here. In less than half a year, we were attacked by the enemy three times at night. In such a harsh environment, Chen Tao was in charge of security work alone and never left the combat post. Even though he is ill and bedridden, he still thinks about the revolutionary cause. She lives a hard life, wears simple clothes, tights and sandals, and shuttles through the crowd like a swallow. The locals call it "the good daughter of the poor"

1in the second half of 940, in order to open up the anti-Japanese base area in northern Jiangsu, Chen Tao and his comrades embarked on a journey into northern Jiangsu. On one occasion, I crossed the blockade of Kuomintang troops on the Jin-Pu Railway and left 180 Ali for one day and one night. Most of this team are children under the age of twenty. When they arrived at the camp, they were exhausted and didn't want to move. Chen Tao, on the other hand, regardless of his fatigue, took the initiative to call hot water for everyone, packed up and kept busy. On the way to March, Li Jia, a comrade-in-arms, lived on the ground floor of a farmhouse because of a high fever. Late at night, she came to visit with Li Tao, boiled water and decocted medicine, and didn't return to her residence until angel lee had a fever.

After hard life and fierce struggle, Chen Tao gradually grew into a vanguard of the proletariat.

She came to Yancheng and was assigned to work in the pro-democracy movement in Shuoji District of Funing County. With the care and support of the party organization, she successfully completed the revolutionary task entrusted by the party.

The needs of the party are the wishes of revolutionary fighters. 194 1 in the spring of, Chen Tao was ordered to be the secretary of the second working committee of Northeast Administrative Office of Funing County, and together with comrades Ji Guo and Wang Youfang, he publicized and mobilized the masses to join in the great anti-Japanese struggle.

"The people are the parents of revolutionary fighters, and only by relying on them can we win the final victory of the revolution", Chen Tao remembered the leader's words. As soon as she arrived at Wangyoufang, she went to visit poor families. Every time I go to a house, I don't open the lid to see the food; Just look at the quilt on the bed and ask if it's warm and cold. Wang Ping, Huang's daughter-in-law, is a bride who has just passed the door. Without changing clothes, I took off one for her, which moved the Huang family to tears. Chen Tao established friendship with the poor. Seeing someone carrying water, she went to touch the pole to help carry water; When she saw a spring mill, she came forward to help; Whose floor is dirty, she picks up a broom to clean it. The masses are very sorry and won't let her do it. Chen Tao said affectionately, "We are all family. It is right for me to do something for you. " She gets along with the masses and has deep feelings. She is close to her family. The poor praised her and said, "This good girl sent by the Eighth Route Army really cares about us everywhere!"

The sinister fighting environment made Chen Tao, a young revolutionary soldier, deeply realize the extreme importance of "political power comes from the barrel of a gun". After arriving at Wangyoufang, on the basis of visiting the poor and asking questions, the Revolutionary Armed Youth Team was immediately organized. After her vigorous publicity and in-depth mobilization, nearly 30 young people joined the youth team in a short time. With organizations and people, what if there are no weapons? So they borrowed guns from enlightened gentry and rich households and mobilized the masses to offer guns. Chen Tao presided over the symposium of landlords, gentry and rich households, moved by emotion and reasoned with reason, and repeatedly explained the great significance of organizing local armed forces to fight against the Japanese invaders, and mobilized to lend guns to defend China. The landlord, the gentry king, is more open-minded and sympathetic to the Japanese. Chen Tao visited many times and advised him to take the lead in borrowing a gun. After patient efforts, I borrowed more than forty branches in more than ten days.

Under the leadership of Chen Tao, the youth team went out to exercise, practice martial arts, learn to sing and take revolutionary theory classes. Their life is rich and colorful, United and tense, serious and lively, and they have become a solid armed force to defend the new regime.

In Wangyoufang area, Chen Tao conscientiously implemented the party's United front policy and United all possible forces to participate in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. The local landlord Wang is a member of the Standing Committee of the Senate of Funing County. She often publicizes the idea of the * * * production party to Wang, explaining the truth of daring to be present and uniting against Japan, making Wang nod and say yes. Chen Tao often asks him for advice to improve his work. Deeply moved, Wang praised her as a young girl, but a talent of the * * * production party, willing to contribute to the anti-Japanese war.

While establishing local anti-Japanese armed forces, Chen Tao also organized peasant churches to mobilize peasants to resist Japan, thus developing and consolidating the anti-Japanese democratic regime. With the rapid development of the anti-Japanese situation, the reactionary landlords, remnants of the Kuomintang die-hards and bandits in Wangyoufang were on pins and needles. They regard Chen Tao as a thorn in their side and a thorn in their flesh, and want to kill him quickly.

A long-planned counter-revolutionary riot finally happened. Zhang Chongshan, captain of the youth team, and some players are stationed in Yuejia. Wang Muzhao, the reactionary landlord of Daitan, colluded with Yu Fan, the stubborn squadron leader of the second brigade of Funing County, and led more than 100 people to surround Wang Xing's residence in the middle of the night. Chen Shaowu, Zhu Deqing, Xu Rong and other traitors lurking inside the youth team suddenly opened the door and bandits filed in. After Chen Tao found out, he immediately organized the players to fight back heroically. He was shot in the leg, bleeding, and fell to the ground, still shooting at Kuomintang troops and bandits. Finally, because of the disparity in numbers and the exhaustion of bullets, the Kuomintang troops and bandits were densely packed with bullets. Chen Tao was shot several times and died heroically with the young captain Zhang Chongshan.

Chen Tao, 2 1 year-old, shed his last drop of blood and gave his youth for the great cause of the party and the people. The northeast people of Funing County and Wangyoufang lost a revolutionary relative, and the party and people lost a brave and good daughter.

Chen Tao martyrs will live in the hearts of the people forever.
