Storage conditions of pomegranate: The external environmental conditions that affect the fresh-keeping and storage of pomegranate are mainly temperature, humidity and gas composition. Practice has proved that the suitable temperature for pomegranate fresh-keeping and storage is 3-5cC, the highest is not more than 8cC, and the lowest is not less than 0cC. The relative humidity of air is 85% ~ 90%. When stored at 30C, the concentration of oxygen in the air is 2%, and the suitable concentration of carbon dioxide is 12Z.

Storage mode: (1) jar storage. Take the jar as a container, wash it and dry it. The bottom is covered with a layer of wet sand with a water content of about 5 curses and a thickness of 5-6 cm. A pile of straw or bamboo tube is erected in the middle to facilitate ventilation. Pomegranate is placed around the straw or bamboo tube until it is 5-6 cm away from the altar mouth, and then sealed with wet sand. (2) Enclosure storage. In a cool and rain-proof place indoors, build a 5-6 cm high bottom with bricks or square wood, and spread a layer of 5-6 cm thick straw or loose hair on it. Expand the shell and roll it in a spiral shape at the bottom. The inner layer of the enclosure can be lined with a layer of waste newspaper, and pomegranate can be placed inside. Finally, cover the top and periphery of the pile with pine needles. Check every 15-20 days during storage 1 time. It can be stored for 2~3 months. (4) cellar storage. Choose a place with high and dry terrain and low groundwater level, dig a dry well with a diameter of 1m and a depth of 2 ~ 3m, and then dig a hole from the surrounding soil with a suitable size to ensure no collapse. When storing, first lay a layer of straw on the bottom of the cellar, put 5-6 layers of pomegranate on the grass, and finally close the wellhead. That is, bamboo poles or wooden poles are crossed above the wellhead, and a pile of straw is erected in the middle for ventilation, and the straw is covered with soil and sealed.

The bottom and wall of the ditch are leveled with bricks, covered with 5 boxes of rice-thick wet sand and fruits.
