Brief introduction of Taiyuan Street attractions:
In A.D. 1898, Shenyang Railway Station became a Russian concession, and Xisitiao Street, a little-known path, became the predecessor of Taiyuan Street, which is now famous in Northeast China. 19 19, the Japanese invaders forced all the streets of Manchuria Railway to use Japanese names, and Xisi Street was shamefully named Chunri Town. After liberation, this century-old street was officially called Taiyuan Street. 198 1 year later, in the wave of reform and opening up, Taiyuan Street gradually developed into a commercial street with many merchants and a long commercial history.
Today, Taiyuan Street is 3950 meters long. Among them, the nearly 1,000-meter section from Zhongshan Road in the north to the Cultural Palace in the south has become the most prosperous business district in Shenyang. From 10 grocery store at the beginning of the 9th century to today's 2 1 century, Taiyuan Street has hundreds of street shops, more than a dozen modern shopping malls, several famous large-scale professional markets in China and a bustling commercial pedestrian street. The future development of Taiyuan Street will be divided into six areas: one core and two hearts. One core refers to the central business core. Erxin refers to European leisure cultural center and administrative office center. The six districts refer to the comprehensive traffic business district, western business district, eastern residential district, exhibition administrative district, southern residential green district, southern business office district, southern education district and medical district.
