Peng Mansion is divided into three parts: residence, garden and orchard. There are residential areas in the east, gardens in the middle and orchards in the west, covering an area of more than 20,000 square meters, with a building area of 1500 square meters. At present, it is a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit and a cultural relics experience tour area integrating historical and cultural display, study tour and academic exchange.

There are more than 50 houses in the community, East Gate and Qianmashi. The building layout is divided into front, middle and back yards, that is, three entrances. Hanging flower door in the center line, beautifully decorated. The word "Fu" on the south side of the front yard is tall and straight, the word "Xiang Ying" on the west side is the screen wall, and the ritual gate on the north side leads to the courtyard and the moon gate. The main room and the east and west wing rooms of the Intermediate People's Court form a circular eaves gallery, decorated with lotus columns on three sides, and there is a square terrace in front of the backyard eaves gallery.

The garden is located in the west courtyard of the residential area. There is a flower hall (commonly known as Miss House) with a pavilion in the middle and three seats, which is a place to enjoy flowers and drink tea in the park. There are soft partitions and antique shelves in the greenhouse. The orchard is in the west of the garden, covering an area of nearly 10,000 square meters, with rare fruit trees. This mansion surrounded by high walls is a masterpiece of typical large quadrangle buildings in the north in the early Republic of China.

After the opening of the museum, according to the characteristics of local collections, after several years of preparation, Liaoyang Forest of Steles and Liaoyang Museum of Han and Wei Murals were built. The responsible comrades of the Cultural Relics Bureau of the Central Ministry of Culture wrote the word "Jue" for Liaoyang Museum.

With the rapid development of socialist construction, Liaoyang Museum will play its due role as a local museum of history and art, and become a patriotic education base and a window of spiritual civilization construction activities in Liaoyang.
