Use of stage lighting effect equipment

As a municipal TV station, compared with the central and provincial TV stations, the use frequency of the studio is very low, and the stage lighting effect equipment and operators are also pitiful. It is the responsibility of our local TV station and studio recording staff to make good use of the existing equipment and produce high-quality and efficient cultural programs with few people. The stage lighting effect equipment mentioned here refers to computer lights, smoke machines, snowflake machines, bubble machines, colorful guns and so on.

1. Use of computer lights and consoles

Municipal TV stations have limited financial resources and are short of funds. When buying computer lights and console equipment, it is often bought in batches for many times, which often leads to a small number of computer lights, but the models are diverse and the product performance is uneven, which causes certain troubles and difficulties in use. Especially in the control part, it is often the special console that comes with the computer lamp when you buy it for the first time, which is not very effective in controlling other types of computer lamps. In the long-term use process, we have explored a set of methods to control different types of computer lights by adjusting the simple special console. Let's take the Pilot 1600 console we use as an example to explain.

Pilot 1600 computer light console is a special console for GSM in Italy. The console can control 20 computer lights controlled by DMX5 12 signals, store 64 different types of light groups, and control at most 16 computer lights (one for each button). It has built-in several sets of GSM lamps, which is convenient if you want to use GSM lamps, but it is difficult to use other types of lamps.

There are three reasons for this:

(1) The console has only one DMX5 12 signal output port, so it is impossible to control different lights with multiple control lines.

(2) The console originally controlled only one type of computer lamp, and the address code can be set according to the number of channels of the lamp. If the number of channels of the new lamp is different from that of the original lamp, it will be covered or the channels of the original lamp will be covered.

(3) The built-in lamp library of the special console does not support new lamps, and the control channel number and name of the new lamps cannot be displayed correctly, which is not conducive to maintenance and use. We used to have four GSM scanning computer lights, but later we bought eight domestic shaking head lights. For financial reasons, it is impossible for us to buy a new universal computer light console. In order to solve this problem, we adopt the following methods: First, a signal line is led from the No.4 lamp (the last scanning lamp) of the original computer lamp to the No.0 lamp of the new lamp, and all the 1 2 computer lamps are connected in series and controlled by one signal line, thus solving the problem of DMX5 12 signal output. Then we set the address code based on which of the two lamps has more channels. The original GSM lamp is 16 channel, and the new lamp is 8 channel, so we set the interval of address code to 16. This ensures that every lamp is well controlled, and there will be no problem that the channel is covered; Finally, we compile a new lamp library according to the function of each channel of the new lamp so that the console can identify the new lamp. Only in this way can the lamps be used correctly and all kinds of programming can be carried out. Of course, this is only an expedient measure under limited conditions. After all, it is complicated to use, so it is better to choose a general computer lighting console if possible.

2. Control and use of computer lamp power supply

As we all know, the light life of a computer lamp is generally 750 hours, so it can't be triggered (started) by heat, and it can't be restarted until the light bulb is extinguished and cooled down. According to these characteristics, we try to record song and dance programs that need computer lighting to set off the atmosphere, so as to shorten their use time. In order to avoid the harm of self-starting (hot-starting) impact caused by power failure to computer lights, we have taken the measure of installing AC contacts under the air switch that supplies power to computer lights. Lead the button switch that controls the closing of AC contactor to the lighting control room. This not only avoids the self-starting of computer lights after power failure and incoming calls, but also reduces the labor of switching power supply back and forth.

Three. Use of Smoke Machine and Bubble Machine

The two range hoods of our XX TV station were purchased by 1996, and the control line of each range hood is only 5 meters long. It needs two people to control it on the stage. It is difficult to communicate with the director, and the smoke output rate of the two machines is also inconsistent. In view of this situation, we have made the following improvements: lengthening the control line and welding the five-core head with two 30-meter-long five-core cables (the control line of the range hood is a five-core wire). Lead it to the equipment floor along the walls on both sides of the stage, then lead it from the equipment floor to one side of the spotlight, and find two cores about 6 meters long. When welding the five-core female head, first find out the point control line of the hood (the control line of the hood has five cores, namely 1 grounding, 2-point control, 3 timing, 4 normally open 5 male * * * power supply) and the male * * * power supply line, and weld them together during welding. Two 2-core cables. After welding, insert the original controller to weld two 2 cores. The other end of the cable is connected to a double control switch. It should be noted that two 2-core cables connected in parallel from the control lines of two range hoods can only be connected to the four-contact dual-control switch, so as to avoid short-circuit failure caused by different phase sequences of power supplies connected to the two range hoods. The double control switch for controlling the cigarette maker is fixed on the handle of the spotlight, and the two controllers of the original cigarette maker are fixed on the lamp holder of the spotlight. In this way, you can control the range hood while operating the spotlight. When two smoke machines need to smoke at the same time, click the double control switch on the spotlight handle. When you need a hood to smoke, just click on the controller of that machine, which is very convenient.

Code for operation of stage lighting

The following are common mistakes in practical work:

1. When the light bulb is cold, suddenly turn on the light (full), which may cause the light bulb? Dad? Burst with a bang; Or cause the bulb tungsten wire to fuse.

Operation skill: When the light bulb is in a cold state (before turning on), just slightly push the pusher on the console (usually referring to the pressed light state) to make the light bulb slightly bright, let it be in a preheating state and make it evenly heated. At the same time, evaporate the water molecules condensed on the bulb glass shell, preheat it for a few minutes, then push it up a little, and preheat it for a few minutes before turning the lamp on completely.

2. Never turn on the power supply of the silicon box when the dimmer fader is fully pressed. The result is the same as above, except that both will damage the light bulb. All faders of the dimmer should be turned off, and the power supply of the silicon box should be turned on.

3. Don't reverse the order of light console and silicon box power supply when switching devices. When turning on the power supply, turn on the power supply of the lamp console first, and then turn on the power supply of the silicon box; When turning off the power supply, turn off the power supply of the silicon box first, and then turn off the power supply of the light console. If you reverse the operation sequence, all the lights will flash, which will affect the service life of the light bulb.

When the light bulb is turned on, don't shake the light greatly. The tungsten filament of the bulb will break or fall off.

5. Don't touch the light bulb directly when replacing it, which will affect the fluency of the light bulb, and there is another hidden danger that it will cause the light bulb to burst.

Operation skill: When changing the light bulb, be sure to put on gloves before touching the light bulb. If you don't have gloves, you can wrap them with sponge, plastic paper or soft tissue and put them on. After the installation, be sure to take these packages down to avoid fire when pushing the light bulb.
