In the first year of Chongning (1 102), the poet was exiled to Sichuan for several years and was pardoned. On the way back to his hometown in Jiangxi, the poet couldn't restrain his inner joy and climbed Yueyang Tower in the rain to enjoy the lakes and mountains. These two poems are the works of expressing feelings when the poet climbed the building, and they are the crown of the seven wonders of the poet.

The first poem is about the poet's joy of returning from forgiveness. The first sentence "Despair to death" shows the poet's deep feelings of being relegated; The realism in The Spotted Sideburns is slightly exaggerated, which shows the long time from the poet's demotion to his pardon and brings out the joy of the next sentence "born". From "ten thousand deaths" to "birth", the poet first suppressed and then promoted, which is a true portrayal of his mood and profoundly expresses the joy of the poet being pardoned and going home at this time. Three or four sentences go further. The poet smiled before arriving at his hometown in the south of the Yangtze River, and looked at Junshan in his hometown from Yueyang Tower, feeling extremely happy. The expression of "smile" vividly shows the poet's full joy. Just going upstairs to see Junshan, the poet can be beaming, not to mention returning to China. The word "first" is easily associated with "after", but poetry comes to an abrupt end, which makes people think deeply.

The second is what the poet saw and felt when he looked at Dongting Lake from the railing. The first sentence contains feelings about the scenery, and "full of wind and rain in Sichuan" means pun. It not only describes the scenery on Dongting Lake, but also implies the dangerous political environment in which the poet lives. Even so, the poet can still enjoy the lakes and mountains with great interest, which shows his broad-minded and heroic mind. The second sentence describes the scenery of Junshan seen from the railing. The poet compared the peak of Junshan to the bun of his wife, which showed the spirit of Junshan. In a few words, the poet imagined how pleasant it would be to watch Junshan on the crest of the waves in the vast lake. The word "pity" reveals the regret that the poet can't enjoy the scenery as expected, and shows the breadth of the poet's mind from the side, which is amazing.

These two poems are magnificent, blending ancient and modern, lyrical in the scenery, expressing feelings and stirring feelings.
