1, historical origin
Relief painting has a long history, and the earliest relief painting originated from Italian plant specimen making in16th century. From 65438 to 2007, it was introduced to Europe and America and other countries. Pressed flower art was introduced to Japan during the Meiji Restoration in19th century. In 1950s, the development of desiccant made pressed flower art develop rapidly, and embossing was introduced to Taiwan Province Province in 1980s.
There are China, Japanese, Iranian, American, Danish, Ukrainian, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Hungarian, British and other countries engaged in pressed flower art. The styles of embossed paintings are varied, but due to the cultural differences between the East and the West, they can basically be divided into two categories: European style and Asian style.
European style pays attention to taste style, especially the elegance of color and the ancient meaning of picture frame. The composition is mostly patterned or abstract, bright and exquisite, showing the advanced life taste of western culture. Asian reliefs mostly adopt natural sketch or freehand brushwork composition style and are realistic. In China, most relief paintings try to compose traditional Chinese paintings to show the taste of China culture.
2. Production process
Selection and decomposition of flower materials: the selection of flower materials must be considered according to the composition method, design purpose and screen size. Potted flowers, cut flowers, weeds, wild flowers and trees can be selected. Collection should be carried out at 9: 00 am-11on sunny days, when plant branches and flowers are most active.
Decomposition of flower material before pressing: different flower materials, different production purposes, different decomposition methods. Petals can be divided into full flower pressure, half flower pressure, local decompression and whole string pressure; According to the thickness of buds and stems, choose full pressure or cutting pressure; The visual works of leaves need different visual inhibition.
Embossing: put the decomposed flowers on absorbent paper without overlapping each other, put another layer of flowers every few layers of paper, and finally put them in a ventilated and dry place for gravity embossing. Change the paper once a day and you can get dried flowers in a week.
Design and production of relief painting: the backing can be cardboard or flat flannel. The pasting medium is white latex, and the tools used are tweezers, small scissors and curved toothpicks. When designing and pasting, you must use leaves, not too much glue. After the relief painting is finished, you can choose a suitable frame and use background paper at the bottom.
