Introduction:
The name of Sinan Building comes from Sinan Road. Sinan Road traces back to the road name of French Concession-Massenet Road, from which comes the English name of sinan mansions Hotel.
The area was developed in the 1920s as the core area of the French Concession at that time. This year, along Galeries Lafayette Road (now Fuxing Middle Road) to the south of France Park (now Fuxing Park), the first batch of garden houses rose from the ground.
In the following ten years, garden houses were built in the area south of Lafayette Road, east of Mas South Road (now Sinan Road) and west of Ban Lü Road (now Chongqing South Road), which attracted a large number of military and political dignitaries, entrepreneurs, professionals and famous artists to move in, making this area the residence and gathering place of the upper class at that time.
Today, 49 renovated historic buildings and 9 new buildings in Sinan Tower are divided into four complementary functional areas-hotel, business, residence and office. Sinan mansions has become one of the preservation and protection projects of Shanghai's historical and cultural features and outstanding historical buildings, integrating humanities, fashion and historical details.
