Qingtian county is located in the southeast of Zhejiang Province, in the middle and lower reaches of Oujiang River, in the west of Wenzhou and in the southeast of Lishui. It borders Wenzhou and Yongjia in the east, Ruian and Wencheng in the south, Jingning She Autonomous County in the west and Jinyun in the north, with a total area of 2,493 square kilometers.
