Writing on Pengzhou Garden Stone Arch Bridge
My family lives near Pengzhou Garden. When I was a child, my grandparents took me to the park every day. There are many bridges in the park: stone arch bridge, cement arch bridge, steel tube arch bridge, flat bridge, wooden bridge and footbridge. I often climb up and down the bridge, which is very interesting.

Among them, my favorite is the big stone arch bridge of the cruise pier pavilion in the east of Cuihu Lake. The bridge is more than three meters high and has more than thirty steps on one side. On both sides of the bridge, there are all relief patterns carved on the slate: fairy scattered flowers, bamboo, orchids, plums, chrysanthemums and so on. Every time I go there, I seem to smell the refreshing flowers. There are 24 stone lions on 24 railing posts, and now only one is left, standing alone on the bridge. There is a sunken footbridge between Cuihu River and Liuhe River. The deck consists of 78 stone slabs 4 meters long and 50 centimeters wide. To the east of the bridge is the flowing Liuhe River, and to the west is the flowing water overflowing from the Cuihu Lake. Especially in summer, the river flooded some stone slabs, and pedestrians walked on the bridge as if they were walking in the river, which was very comfortable. There are two cobblestone bridges to the west of Cuihu Lake. There are three big banyan trees at both ends of an arch bridge, which completely covers the bridge deck. The bridge deck is paved with stone slabs, and the railings are made of stone strips and slabs. The Yunlong pattern of 12 is also carved on the stone pillars, and the bridge deck and railings are made into natural rock shapes. Visitors to the park like to take pictures here as a souvenir.

I like the bridge in the park, which not only makes it convenient for tourists to visit the park, but also gives us the enjoyment of returning to nature. I hope everyone will love it, protect it and let it serve tourists forever.
