On Torch Festival, every household sets up a small torch before six o'clock, and every village sets up several matchsticks. The top of the torch is tied with a colorful "five grains" barrel, surrounded by colorful flags and bouquets, as well as a string of burnt pears, bonuses and Li Tang tied with colored ropes. Colorful flames rise from the ground, which is particularly spectacular.

Around the sea will be held in Jianhu Lake on June 15 of each summer calendar. On this day, all the Bai people in Bazhai, the four townships of Jianchuan Bazi, gathered at the sword lake and carried out activities around the sea in groups in villages. Singing white songs, dancing overlord whip and kowtowing in this main temple. Activities usually start and end in a village and end at the seaside.
Girls' Day
On the 15th day of the first month every year, Bai women in southern Yunnan, Yang Cen and other places celebrate the traditional "Girls' Day". Legend has it that this young girl is a beautiful, hardworking and kind girl. She was forced to be a child bride and abused by her mother-in-law and husband. "She wants to pick a few buckets of water to count, and it's too late to scold, and her body is broken, and she is afraid and surprised ..." She lives an inhuman life. She roared, "It's hard to draw the figure on the wall, and it's hard to catch the moon for nothing. It's hard to chain my heart! " Under the historical conditions at that time, she had to jump into the Haiwei River to resist the feudal marriage system of cannibalism with her death. In order to mourn this young girl, Bai women gather together on the fifteenth day of the first month every year to carry out commemorative activities. In the evening, they carried the idol of the girl and walked through the alleys of the village, singing the long poem "Girl" describing their tragic experience.

Worship of God is a unique religious belief of the Bai people. "The Lord" means that the local environment is the mainstay and the patron saint of the region. There is a stage in front of the main temple. Besides offering sacrifices to the Lord, the main temple also offers sacrifices to his wife, children and believers. Their statues are often carved from pine and cypress, with simple and vivid shapes and rich local characteristics. Most of the gods listed as the Lord are people who have contributed to the people. Every year, a grand meeting will be held on the main birthday, with the time ranging from 1 to 3 days. Pear Blossom Festival is a traditional activity of Bai people, which is held every year when pear blossoms are in full bloom. In the spring of March, pear orchards all over Jianchuan dam, sloping fields and river valleys are covered with white and elegant plain clothes, and the pear trees are full of dazzling white flowers. The pear garden is full of beautiful charm, and the branches of pear trees swaying in the spring breeze seem to wave to people frequently. People go to the pear garden for picnics and spring outing in groups of three or five, or get together with relatives and friends, or have fun with the whole family.
Tree planting meeting
Transplanting will be a folk activity held by the Bai people in Shanglan and Shaxi during the Transplanting Festival. Often sing in the field with a unique planting tone. In Tiantou, folk artists are specially hired to play suona accompaniment with percussion instruments in the coming year; Transplanters in Tianba plant rice while singing the tune of transplanting rice. The atmosphere is warm and lively, full of farmers' joy. At the end of planting, the custom of "playing lucky hanging" is carried out in the field.
