1. The main producing areas of pineapple are Guangxi, China, and Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Hainan, Guangdong and Fujian, Taiwan Province Province, all of which have large planting areas. There are also a few plants in southern Guizhou and Yunnan. It is widely cultivated in Zhanjiang, Shantou, Jiangmen and suburbs of Guangdong, China, and its output is also very high.

2. Its origin is in tropical mountainous areas such as Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. Besides China, it is also cultivated in the United States, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico and Brazil.
