Tang Dynasty: Li Bai
I love Tongguan Mountain, where I have fun, and I don't want to leave for a thousand years.
I want to have a long dance sleeve to brush the mountains and rivers of Wusong mountains and rivers.
Translation:
I love Tongguan Mountain. It's fun here. I've lived in it for thousands of years and I don't want to leave. I want to roll my sleeves every day and sweep the mountains and rivers of Wusong Mountain.

1, creative background
This poem was written by Li Bai when he visited Tongling in the 13th year of Tianbao (754). After seeing the magnificent scenery of Tongguan Mountain and Wusong Mountain, the author was so excited that he never wanted to go back to Chang 'an again. It is also the mentality that arrogant people are unwilling to bow their heads and serve the powerful, and it is also the mentality that frustrated people are brilliant but have nowhere to play.

Although this poem is only a short five-word quatrain, its high-intensity expression of the poet's thoughts and feelings and bold use of artistic exaggeration make people call it "quatrain". "I love the music of bronze officials", the first sentence in the poem comes straight to the point and points out the main idea of the whole poem. Here, the poet is outspoken, frank and frank, and draws out the poet's deep love for Tongling with chivalrous words. This is the source of exaggeration.
To love Tongling, the poet first wrote from the feeling of nostalgia-"it has not been planned for thousands of years." "Millennium" is extremely exaggerated in time, which leads to the extension of the poet's love for Tongling. The exaggeration of time (numbers) leads to the exaggeration of emotion, which shows the sincerity of the poet's emotion. The poet bought wine in Tongguan Mountain, feasted and laughed, waved a sword symbolizing ambition, sang and danced with big curtain sleeves, which made readers envy his interest.
From debauchery to crowing, the poet pushed his emotions to a climax with exaggerated methods. Three or four sentences mean that the poet's joy in the feast of Tongguan Mountain is not enough to express his love. He also needs to dance his sleeves once to catch the delicious Wusong Mountain. Wusong Mountain is very beautiful. There are springs, holes, flowers and trees on it. It is impossible to teach "dancing sleeves" and "brushing off", which is an exaggeration of romantic behavior in space.
It shows the poet's deep affection for Tongling mountains and rivers, and the word "brushed away" shows the poet's inner tenderness. Although the two kinds of exaggeration used in poetry belong to the same way, they both belong to enlarged exaggeration, that is, deliberately making the general things bigger (more, faster, higher, longer, stronger ...) (the former said that time is stronger than the latter said that space is bigger), but after careful consideration, Shang Meng is different.
The former exaggeration is more empty and slightly literary, while the latter exaggeration is more detailed and more real. The two exaggerations set off the moon from different time and space angles, which made the poet's feelings of "I love copper official music" accumulate in the artistic realm with strong colors.
Therefore, exaggeration can strongly and vividly express the poet's feelings in lyric poetry. Exaggerated "distortion" and absurdity, poetic truth and touching all reflect the difference and connection between artistic truth and real life. Just as artistic truth is inseparable from real life, exaggeration is inseparable from the poet's repressed deep and strong thoughts and feelings.
Without this, exaggeration will become a rootless tree and passive water, which will not touch the emotional heartstrings of readers. The success of exaggeration in Li Bai's poems lies in its strong ideological and emotional foundation.
