Quzhou has been outstanding since ancient times, with simple folk customs and strong style of study. Especially in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were a steady stream of students and talented people. More than 300 people took the provincial township examinations, more than 80 people took the palace examinations, participated in the national examination presided over by the emperor himself, and became scholars. In the middle and late Qing Dynasty, there were more than 30 Wu Jinshi. Therefore, many people have gained fame, become high officials and rich people, and praise and honor their ancestors. The memorial archway is an important product. How many archways are there in Quzhou history? Because of the large span of time and space, it is difficult to verify. Most of them are in their seventies and eighties. The relevant departments in the county once inspected the Dongguan and Beifu sections of Fengcheng Road. In just a few hundred meters, more than ten groups of arched foundations and components were found, some of which were only 20 meters apart, which is a well-deserved "arched street", which also shows that there are many arched buildings in Quzhou.
These archways gradually became obsolete with the passage of time, and some naturally collapsed. Especially since the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, people have been unable to maintain these fine products carved on wood or stone, and natural and man-made disasters have made these archways become people's memories. There is only one archway, although it is only the lowest archway with two pillars and one entrance, but it is an authentic old object. The following are the three generations of Enshi archway in Shimen, Zhang Shaoqing, Taibu Temple in Ming Dynasty and the only remaining cross street in Beisitou Village, Quzhou. After more than 500 years of wind and rain erosion, this stone archway stands tall.
Zhang Shi Meng Haozhi, whose name is Taiyan, Chen Yubi, a senior minister of Nanjing, returned to his hometown in Quzhou after being dismissed from office. Zhang Shimeng often goes for advice and has the friendship of mentoring. In the 23rd year of Wanli (1595), Zhang Shimeng was admitted as a scholar in Ming Shenzong, and was immediately appointed as the magistrate of Shanyang County, Jiangsu Province, with outstanding achievements, which was praised by the world. During his tenure in Sichuan Yudao, he returned to his hometown of Quzhou for six years. On Thursday, Liu Rongsi of Furen Village (the minister of the Ministry of Industry and the right deputy capital) often asked Zhang Shimeng for advice, and he was deeply attached to his mentoring. Zhang Shimeng later served as the suggestion and inspected salt and Zhejiang, with a high position, but remained uncorrupted. Later, it was suggested to visit the Beijing camp and go to Taibu Temple in do miss. He is an official, "self-sustaining, loyal and self-clearing." After Liu Rongsi died, he also wrote a biography for the teacher.
Now, the only remaining archway still exists. Although it has experienced numerous storms and vicissitudes, it is the only old thing left over from the Ming Dynasty in Quzhou, which embodies the feelings of Quzhou people for history. Unfortunately, however, on March 9, 20 18, it was hoisted by a concrete tanker, which was seriously damaged and distressing.
On the morning of 2018165438+1October10, a grand ceremony was held in Beisitou Village, Quzhou County to celebrate the brand reconstruction of Zhang Shimeng in the Ming Dynasty. Red ribbons and lanterns are hung on the arch. Later generations Zhang Shimeng set off firecrackers, burned incense and offered sacrifices, and invited the yangko team and the lion dance team to play with guns.
However, it's not the past.
