What did the children learn from a DIY stage play?
Who said that school is an ivory tower for learning knowledge? Obviously, it is also a stage of life, where children grow up and experience and constantly enrich their lives.

0 1-

After the final exam, the intense study life is relaxed, and the children can catch their breath in the cracks of the college entrance examination. The "reading sharing meeting" specially prepared by the school for senior two children is about to begin again.

The "Reading Sharing Meeting" on the second day of every year is a special activity of this school, which encourages children to create boldly on the basis of reading. There are all kinds of programs, all of which are written, directed and performed by children. The school doesn't judge or line up, and children can come whenever they like, and all of them make use of the study gap to rehearse, giving children full creative freedom. The school is responsible for providing venues and equipment, and the school leaders and teachers are the most loyal audience.

Every year, children are very keen on cultural performances. Because there is no pressure to compare and evaluate, there is no rule, and the children are bent on showing their talents.

This is one of the reasons why I admire this school. Such activities that fully demonstrate children's nature and talent are the real quality education!

There are two programs in my daughter's class. My daughter participated in the textbook drama Biography of Lian Po and Lin Xiangru.

The director is a female classmate named Wen Wen in her daughter's class. This child just transferred from other places this semester and has been studying far away from his parents' hometown. Leaving his parents to live independently very early, this child has courage and responsibility that other children don't have. She found her own script from the Internet, organized several like-minded children in the class together, and finished her homework every night. The children made suggestions for the performance in the QQ space, enriched the script and perfected the role. Everyone is very excited.

02-

My daughter is also very active.

In the afternoon, the children use the time before class to discuss the rehearsal. In order to pursue the stage effect, several children have differences in the handling of the script.

The whole script is divided into three acts, namely "Return the Complete Set to Zhao", "Mianchi Meeting" and "Offer a humble apology". Some students think that the three-act drama is too long, and they are afraid that it will affect the effect. They advocate deleting Mianchi Club.

My daughter is dead set against it. She thinks Mianchi Meeting is the most wonderful scene, and it is also the chapter that best reflects Lin Xiangru's courage, strategy and eloquence. If it is deleted, the whole play will be eclipsed by the lack of this brilliance.

My daughter said to her friends with some excitement: We can delete those unnecessary details, highlight the key points, and time will be reduced. Don't think that you have listened to what others have said, but use your head to think about whether it is good for the performance!

After school, my daughter told me about it. I think what my daughter said is very reasonable. I think she should stick to her point of view.

I have always believed that it is a very rare quality for children to have their own opinions on things and keep their minds independent, which is worth protecting and encouraging. Children who follow other people's advice may get good grades, but they are often easily influenced by others and it is difficult to make a breakthrough in life.

Working for 20 years, I have dealt with many college students, many of whom are excellent students who graduated from key universities. However, in the process of work, there are many children, and they don't know how to be flexible in the implementation process, so it is difficult to make achievements. And those children who can not only understand the leadership intention, but also understand the specific situation in implementation, have their own opinions and know how to be flexible, often can successfully complete seemingly impossible tasks and grow up rapidly.

When rehearsing again, my daughter still stuck to her point of view and got the support of the organizer Wen Wen. The daughter's enthusiasm is unprecedented. I went home at noon and forgot to eat. I pondered the script and lines by myself, and considered how to make the stage effect concise and smooth, with prominent contradictions. I contributed many ideas, including many details.

In the appearance of the characters, the daughter and another female classmate had differences. The daughter thinks that the king should face the audience, the minister should stand sideways, and another student has other ideas. After consultation, the friends compromised their opinions and the problem was solved satisfactorily.

For the honor of the team, the children learned to persist and know how to cooperate.

03-

On Saturday afternoon, the children went to school for rehearsal on time.

The daughter recited her favorite guitar (because of the story of Wang Zhao and the King of Qin playing drums and musical instruments, the children used waist drums and guitars instead). During the rehearsal, my daughter played a simple tune and listened to the sweet guitar sound. Boys from both classes came running to ask her to teach them how to play the guitar. My daughter feels a little proud. She regrets that she didn't learn the essence, otherwise she could show her skill in front of her classmates.

Looking at the children who grew up with them around them, some learned guzheng, some learned flute, and they could sing solo in the performance, show their talents, harvest flowers and applause, which made their daughters envy.

A few days ago, my daughter told me that although she had a happy childhood, when she grew up, she found that those children who sacrificed their play time to learn a skill were more useful in school and brought personal confidence.

Yes, the pay and return in life are in direct proportion. Although there may be no return at that time, perhaps inadvertently, your efforts and efforts will bring you opportunities, make you more popular, and even turn your destiny around!

When I was in high school, there was an ordinary girl. No one knows that she likes dancing. However, that summer, she wore a bright red dress and danced brilliantly at the school cultural performance. At that time, teachers and classmates all looked at her with new eyes. And this incident has greatly enhanced her self-confidence. Since then, her achievements have advanced by leaps and bounds, becoming a dark horse in the college entrance examination that year and successfully changing her destiny.

According to Maslow's demand theory, everyone has a need to be recognized and respected, which is also an important source of self-confidence. Adolescent children, once recognized in some way, can make them more confident to challenge difficulties. Perhaps, the fate of children will be rewritten by this self-confidence.

Therefore, in children's childhood, it is necessary for parents to let their children accept the influence of art and cultivate a hobby under the overall arrangement.

Sunday's performance, my daughter's textbook-style play was very successful!

Whether it is the grasp of rhythm, the control of scenes, or the contradictions and conflicts of characters, it has been well expressed.

It is Wen Wen who plays Lin Xiangru. Not only did she print the script for each student, communicate and coordinate with everyone, and check every role, but she also took on the most difficult role, because Lin Xiangru is the soul of the whole play, with long lines. I don't know how much effort this brave child has made behind his back!

Every time she sang a long string in a deep voice, the teachers and students in the audience applauded warmly. The male student who plays the king of Qin is also very good. He used exaggerated language and body movements to make the king of Qin arrogant, and his interpretation was very exaggerated, which led to laughter.

During the performance, every child was very involved, and the children were unwilling to lag behind and cheered for their team.

In the warm applause, the children made curtain calls again and again, and everyone's face was filled with joy of achievement.

My daughter benefited a lot from this performance.

Who says school is an ivory tower? Obviously, it is also a stage of life. Children work and harvest here, and constantly enrich their spiritual world. Perhaps, they can create excellent qualities that will affect their lives!
