A time deposit certificate is a time deposit certificate for depositing and withdrawing money.

There are four kinds of certificates of deposit: 1, domestic certificates of deposit and certificates of deposit issued by American commercial banks in China. Interest is paid at maturity, and part of it is discounted and withheld. Most of these deposit slips are anonymous, so they can be transferred and kept secret for investors. 2. Eurodollar certificates of deposit are issued by American banks overseas or in their offshore financial markets, or by banks outside the United States. 3. American certificates of deposit or domestic certificates of deposit opened by foreigners. It is a certificate of deposit issued by a branch of a foreign bank in the United States. 4. The deposit certificate of the savings institution. It is issued by American savings institutions. The term is longer, up to five years. The secondary market of such certificates of deposit is not very developed. American savings institutions are developing European dollar certificates of deposit outside the United States to expand the international financial market.
