These two statements sound absurd, but they all have some truth.
Xihe County belongs to Longnan City, Gansu Province, located in the southeast of Gansu Province and at the northern end of Longnan City. It is named after Gu Xi and Hezhou. Wudu County was established in Luo Yu (now Luo Yu Town) in the Western Han Dynasty, Qiu Chi in the Jin Dynasty, Luo Yu in Qin Zhou in the Northern Wei Dynasty and Chengzhou in the Western Wei Dynasty. After several changes, Zhou Min was changed to Xizhou in the Southern Song Dynasty, and Xizhou was reduced to a county in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. Now Xihe County governs 16 town and 4 townships, with an area of 186 1 square kilometer and a total population of 437,633.
During the Tang and Song Dynasties, Lixian County and Xihe River were under the jurisdiction of Zhou Min, and Changdao County was established at this time, but Changdao County was ruled as "Li Dian", that is, Lixian County. 1 139, the Southern Song Dynasty court was forced to move Zhou Minfu to Baishi Town, Changdao County (now the west and north of Changdao County). 1 142, Jin Song agreed to change the initials of Hezheng County (Zhou Min) to Hezhou because the word "min" in Zhou Min violated the taboo in Jin Taizu. Later, due to the existing state west of Huaihe River (now Hexian County, Anhui Province), the word "Hezhou" was added with western characters to show the difference, so it was named Xihe Prefecture. Since then, the political field has changed, but the name of Xihe is still in use.
Judging from the current county name, Xihe County is earlier than Lixian County, but this does not mean that Lixian County was under the jurisdiction of the west before.
Let's take a look at the historical development of Lixian County.
Qin: Lixian County belongs to West County of Longxi County.
Han Dynasty: It belongs to Xixian County and Wudu County.
Three Kingdoms: It is still under the jurisdiction of Wudu and Xixian.
Western Jin Dynasty: West County changed into a quarry, belonging to Tianshui County.
Eastern Jin Dynasty: Most of Lixian County belonged to Qiu Chi County, Qin Zhou.
Southern and Northern Dynasties: Hanyang County was located in the Northern Wei Dynasty and was ruled by Lancang (now Hanyang Village, Shiqiao, Lixian County); The Western Wei Dynasty changed Hanyang County to Hanyang County, which belonged to Long Island County.
Tang Dynasty: Shili County belongs to Long Island (county governs Li Dian) and Datan County.
Song is still here.
Yuan Dynasty: On its behalf, Li Dian Wendian Military Marshal House was established. Later, due to the vulgarity of the word "Li", it was replaced by the elegant homophonic "Li". At first, it was transferred to Wang Xiangfu, and later it belonged to the Tubo Xuanwei Department.
Ming Dynasty: In the fourth year of Hongwu (137 1 year), thousands of households built a gift shop, which belonged to Qinzhou Wei in the fifteenth year. In the ninth year of Chenghua, Lixian County was established. The county seat is located in the west of Suosuo (now Lixian County is located in the east of the city gate) and leads to Qin Zhou, which is a regular office.
Qing Dynasty: In the 16th year of Shunzhi, the Wei Institute was laid off, and 100 households of Gongchang Weiwen County Institute and Xigu Institute were merged into Lixian County. Yongzheng seven years, changed to LAN, Zhili, Qin Zhou Chief Secretary, Lixian still belongs to.
It can be seen that the saying that "Lixian used to be the West" is obviously not in line with history. Similarly, the statement that "Xihe once belonged to Lixian County" is not accurate. Why is it "inaccurate" instead of "wrong"?
First, the western region and Lixian region are different in ancient and modern times. Some places in history belong to Lixian County, and some places in Lixian County belong to Xihe County. For example, "Long Island" has always been the hub of Lixian County, and now it belongs to the west. Now the place that belongs to Lixian in history is divided into Xihe River, and some places that belong to Xihe River in history are divided into Lixian County. It is obviously inaccurate to draw the conclusion that Xihe was Lixian or Lixian was Xihe. If this statement is true, how much of West Asia and Europe should belong to China? After all, our king Genghis Khan occupied those places!
Second, the reasons for the merger of Lixian and Xihe. 1958 On August 3rd, Gansu Province decided to cancel Yumen County and merge its administrative area into Yumen City. Two, the revocation of Xihe County, Lixian County, the administrative areas of the two counties merged to establish Xili County. Three, the abolition of Huixian County, Chengxian County, and the administrative areas of the two counties merged to establish Huixian County.
Lixian County was called "Xili County" after the merger. Although the west of Xihe River is in the front, the county seat is in Lixian County. For various reasons, the county was revoked after only three years of merger. But many people think that Xihe River was separated from Lixian County because it was located in Lixian County. In fact, Xihe had a complete system before the merger.
Because the government is located in Lixian, many Lixian people think that Xihe belongs to Lixian. Because of the "Xihe Country", many westerners and people think that Lixian County is Xihe River. As a person from Lixian, I don't agree that Xihe belongs to Lixian. Of course, I am even more opposed to the view that Lixian is Xihe.
Back to the topic: How did Xixi come from?
In the Western Han Dynasty, Wudu County was located in Luo Yu Township in the west and south today, including many Lixian areas and counties such as Chengxian County in Wudu Kang County today. But in the north, Xixi and most areas, such as Lixian, are under the jurisdiction of Xixi County.
During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Changdao County was located in the north, belonging to Qin Zhou, and Shang Lu and Hanlu County were located in the south, belonging to Chengzhou (now Chengxian).
In the Northern Song Dynasty, Changdao County was established and changed to Zhou Min.
In the Southern Song Dynasty, due to the cowardice of the Southern Song Dynasty, Zhou Min moved the capital, and there was a "Hezhou". Because there was an existing Hezhou in Anhui, the word "west" was added before moving the capital to Hezhou, so it was called "Xihe Prefecture".
In the tenth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1377), the state was changed to county and moved to this city. Xihe County appeared for the first time in history.
So that's how Xixi came.
Nowadays, the development speed of Xihe County is getting faster and faster, even ahead of Wudu in some aspects of Longnan City. Paying attention to local culture is also an important reason for the rapid development of Xihe, such as the Begging for Clevership Festival. Now when it comes to Begging for Clevercraft Festival, people immediately think of Xihe Begging for Clevercraft Festival. However, the Qiqiao Festival and the "Qiaoniangniang" are folk customs that originated in Yan Guan, Qishan, Yongxing and Xihe River in Lixian County.
A few days ago, Xixi told people that "eight pears" applied for the geographical indication of Xixi. However, Bapan pear is a kind of fruit planted from Yongxing to Longnan. So some people say that in two years, "Xihe Regan Noodles", "Xihe Qin Culture" and "Xihe Chunxian" will all be produced.
To tell the truth, I know that the purpose of "applying for the World Heritage" and "applying for the World Heritage" is to protect and develop this project, so it is not that we Xihe people can't sell eight pears in Lixian after applying for geographical indications, but that Xihe people protect eight pears.
Although I know that the application for geographical indications is to protect and develop eight pears, I am really unhappy to see the news.
