Introduction of Guiyang Mosque
Guiyang Mosque is the only mosque in Guiyang. According to Qing Daoguang's Records of Guiyang Prefecture, "The ancient mosque was built in Tuanjing Lane, Fuxin City in the second year of Yongzheng (1724) and rebuilt in the seventeenth year of Daoguang (1837). 1934, donated by the old village association at that time, and the house in Qingben Lane was sold to raise money for the second repair. 1947, China Muslim Association Guizhou Branch renovated and added some furniture again. After the founding of New China, it was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Guiyang. It was severely damaged in the Cultural Revolution. After the religious policy was restored, the Guiyang Municipal Government allocated nearly 200,000 yuan for comprehensive maintenance at 1980, and 1982 was put into use.
