1. Use the layout modeling function. In some CAD software, you can quickly view and open the drawing, click the tab to switch to the layout, and then use the layout-to-modeling function. This usually requires selecting a save location, and then clicking Save. After the conversion is completed, the drawing scale can be adjusted to ensure that the measured values are consistent with the drawings.
2. Use the conversion tool from 2D to 3D. In CAD software, layout can be transformed into three-dimensional representation by stretching, rotating and extruding. This requires modeling according to the dimensions and constraints in the layout.
3. Use the extension tool command. In some CAD versions, such as the 2020 version, you can use the command chaspace' to convert the layout into a model. Just select the conversion object, enter the command and press Enter.
4. Copy and paste method. In model space, you can use CTRL+V to copy the paper content on the layout and paste it into the model. Enlarge the model according to the layout scale, and adjust the viewport to ensure that the content is displayed correctly.
5. Use advanced tools of specific software. For example, in CAD dream drawing software, you can click Advanced Tools under the function menu, select the layout and output it as dwg, and then save the file. After the conversion is completed, you can see that the layout has been successfully converted into a model by opening the saved file.
