Walking into the lobby on the first floor of the Capital Museum, there is a tall and bright archway with red columns and green eaves, engraved with three golden characters of "Jingde Street", which suddenly creates a strong old Beijing atmosphere. The exhibition halls on the left and right sides of the archway are unique. One is a huge rectangular "affairs box", and the other is a bronze tripod. The monster that just walked through the wall turned out to be a corner of a huge exhibition hall. The teacher said: "The bronze tripod is a round hall, and the' wooden box' is a square hall." Opposite it, there are two golden dragons surrounded by flower beds. Near the mouths of two dragons, there is a "dragon ball" surrounded by bouquets. We took the elevator to the sixth floor of the rotunda, where the "Jade Exquisite Exhibition" was on display. When I entered the exhibition hall, I was immediately attracted by those exquisite jade articles. There are jade pig dragons begging for rain, wine bottles and tickling wishes. What attracted me the most was Cui Banzhi, which shone flawless green and was as big as a bottle cap. It was treasured by Li Zhen, the great eunuch of the Qing Dynasty, and it was the exclusive treasure of the royal family.
Walking to the fifth floor, we visited the "Research and Rare Exhibition". There are all kinds of ancient Four Treasures of the Study, such as pens, ink, paper and inkstone, as well as the famous lake pens and Guangdong inkstone, but my eyes are fixed on the exquisite ink boxes. Because there is a beautiful legend in this small ink box. According to legend, in ancient times, a man went to Beijing to take an exam. His wife thought the inkstone he was carrying was too heavy, so she dropped the powder from her powder box, put it on cotton, and then poured the ink into cotton. When a scholar writes, he can write with a little water. Thus, the first ink cartridge in China was invented. After visiting the last exhibition hall "Bronze Exquisite Exhibition" in the Round Hall, we went to the Square Hall to visit the "Old Beijing Folk Beijing Past Exhibition" with Beijing cultural characteristics.
The first thing that catches your eye is the traditional archway in old Beijing, and scenes of hutongs and quadrangles can also be seen everywhere. Three scenes reflecting the local customs of old Beijing: wedding custom-bridal chamber candle, the simulated wedding scene is full of excitement and celebration, and also full of simple folk customs; The custom of giving birth to children-the custom of giving birth to dragons and chickens, and the custom of celebrating birthdays-is as rich as the sea. In these scenes, we fully appreciate the profound culture of Beijing, as if taking us back to the distant past.
During the whole visit, I always felt the scenic spots and historical sites, modern architecture, natural scenery and the beauty of Beijing everywhere. Life-like shadow puppets and face people, unique traditional costumes and folk paper-cuts, world-renowned Peking Opera culture, mysterious and elegant seal cutting and calligraphy, and the beauty of culture and art in the capital Beijing is even more charming. The Capital Museum shows the world Beijing's long history, profound cultural heritage and distinctive folk customs, and it is a new window to show Beijing. Through the visit, we really got to know our capital in all directions. I can't help thinking: The Capital Museum is really a corridor of Beijing's history, crossing the ancient historical years of old Beijing and bringing us back to the present.
