Pei Jiliang

Pei: Shao Huai, a native of Dali Village in Ming Dynasty, was a general of Ming Dynasty and was appointed as the Hou of Baoding. He looks tall and ambitious. Pei spent nine years at home, entertaining himself with calligraphy and painting. Yu Qianlong died in five years (1740) at the age of 73.

Pei Zongxi

Pei Zongxi: Formerly known as Erzhi, Ziwuqiao, born in 17 12, son of Pei Du. According to folklore, Zong was clever and talented from an early age. Even Yong Zhengdi has heard about it from time to time. On a pilgrimage, Yongzheng took Pei Du to the temple on a whim. Because Zong Xi was fluent and played correctly, he won the appreciation of Yongzheng and blurted out, "Father supervises son, father and son governors." Pei Du immediately knelt down and said, "Thank you, Lord Long En"! Since ancient times, the emperor has kept his word and kept his word. Yongzheng knowingly made a gaffe, so he had to ask Zongxi to be the title of "Governor". Later, Zong Xi did become the governor, but not by his father's shadow, nor by the emperor's accidental favor. In his official career, Pei Zongxi was promoted from Jinan, Qingzhou Taishou and Jidong Governor to Zhili Division, Anhui Fansi and Guizhou-Yunnan Governor. Wherever he went, he made outstanding achievements and won many awards. It was highly valued by the emperor. After three years of Qianlong (1738), the emperor visited Wutai Mountain and presented it to the audience, giving Zongxi the name and recognizing him as an adopted son. After he officially addressed the governor, Emperor Qianlong was ready to use him as a government official. He died in the forty-fourth year of Qianlong (1779) at the age of 67. Pei Jiafeng of Dali once built the archways of "Hedong Family" and "Father and Son Governor's Mansion" in Gaoxian Town of Quwo.

Pei zhihao
