"Twelve Liancheng" has a history of over 2000 years. The "Twelve Liancheng" of Zhengjue Temple is twelve cypress trees, which are extremely thick and grow on a loess beam of Zhengjue Temple in Quyu Town, Linxian County. 1962 was recognized as "county-level cultural relics" by the county government. Twelve Liancheng and Zhengjue Temple are the products of the same historical period. Because of its early construction and large scale, its temple was registered by the government as the first of the "Thirteen Official Temples" in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. Same age as Guashan and Xuanzhong Temple in Jiaocheng County. After more than 2,000 years of wind and rain, the main roots of twelve ancient cypresses are all exposed, forming a "black root" that needs urgent protection.
After Tanner died in Zheng Jie Temple in Xiaojiatou, Linxian County, his disciples buried him in a pagoda. 1September, 1992, when Zhengjue Temple was building a water tower in Baigeda, a stone tomb with a width of eight feet and a height of six feet was excavated at the top of the dome. The coffin was rotten with pure white plaster, and the deceased was a bone. Among the funerary objects, there is a set of "Elephant Peacock Buddha Lantern" and a "Maitreya Buddha" used in a traditional lighting ceremony in India.
