In the 22nd year of Guangxu (1896), Zhou Wei, the magistrate of Yuyao County, rewarded the Academy with outstanding academic achievements, donated money to expand the Academy, and at the same time, the Academy got nearly 50 mu of land.
At the beginning of the twenty-seventh year of Guangxu (190 1), the Qing Dynasty announced the implementation of the "New Deal" and allowed all localities to set up new schools.
1903, the imperial court promulgated "Guimao Academic System" to promote new learning. In the same year, Xie sent to Sanshan Institute for inspection. After taking office, in response to the new school advocated by the imperial court, he agreed with the directors of the academy such as Huang Yuechuan and Ma Zigeng to change the academy into Sanshan Mengxue and move it to Dongmen Lotus Temple, which became the earliest new school in hushan town and one of the earliest new schools in Cixi.
1908, the school was renamed "Sanshan High Primary School Hall".
19 12, Sanshan Senior Primary School was renamed Sanshan Senior Primary School. During Tong Dongying's tenure as principal, Sanshan High School has achieved large-scale development. He raised funds from all walks of life, expanded the school building, built four new classrooms and two new offices, opened flower beds and set up corridors.
193 1, the school was renamed "Sanshan Complete Primary School", and the following year, the school was renamed "Sanshan Central Primary School".
During the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the school continued to persist and developed slightly under unprecedented difficulties. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the school was restructured, the principal was appointed by Yuyao County Committee, and the school was renamed as "hushan town Central Ethnic School".
After the founding of New China, Sanshan School, founded in the late Qing Dynasty, was reborn. 1949, Yuyao County People's Government took over the school and renamed it "Hushan Primary School".
The people's government has made great efforts to transform and build this school. The nearby Pan Shi Ancestral Hall and Gao Ancestral Hall are designated as schools, and the school buildings are expanded. Since then, through coordination, Gao's ancestral hall has been used to replace the houses of the third village government office, fill the lotus pond and build a new school building, making the school building area reach 466 square meters. 1952, the school was renamed "Hushan Central Primary School".
1954 administrative division adjustment, Hushan was placed under the jurisdiction of Cixi County from Yuyao County and became the county seat of New Cixi County. Therefore, the school was renamed as "Hushan Town Central Primary School in Cixi County", and the school entered a new development period. Cixi county people's government attaches great importance to the construction of schools. The county changed the year and the school auditorium was repaired. 1955, the residential building near the west of the school was demolished and used as a dormitory and dormitory.
From 1963 to 1964, another school building with a total area of 4 12 square meters was demolished, and the school gate was changed from facing north to facing west. During this period, the name of the school changed many times, including Hushan Primary School, hushan town Central Primary School of Hongqi Commune Town Brigade, Hushan Management Area Central Primary School of Hushan Commune, Hushan Primary School and hushan town Central Primary School.
During the "Cultural Revolution", the country was in great turmoil, and the normal educational order of schools was seriously damaged. 1969, the school was forced to be divided into two parts. In the east, it became the May 7th School of Cixi Cotton Mill, and the school was managed by the working class. West became "Red Star and Liansheng Team May 7th School in Hushan Town, Cixi County", and the school was managed by poor middle peasants. 1970 the may 7th school of cixi cotton mill resumed the junior high school classes attached to the 1950s. 1972, east and west schools merged into one school, renamed as "hushan town No.1 School". By 1978, there are 1 1 classes in two-year junior high schools with 500-600 students.
1978, hushan town No.1 school was cancelled and hushan town Middle School (junior high school) was established. Some primary school teachers were assigned to Cixi Experimental Primary School, Hushan Town No.2 Primary School and Hushan Town No.4 Primary School. 1982, Cixi county government decided to change Hushan Middle School into a county-owned complete middle school, named "Hushan Middle School in Cixi County", exchanged campus with Cixi Experimental Primary School, moved to No.38 Tuanquan Road, Hushan Town, and began to recruit the first senior middle school. 1988 withdrew from the county to set up a city, and the school was renamed as "Hushan Middle School in Cixi City".
From June 65438 to September 0996, Hushan Middle School was divided into Hushan Middle School and Hushan Junior Middle School. Hushan Middle School was moved to the original cixi middle school campus, namely Huancheng North Road 1 10.
1February, 1999, Hushan Middle School was moved from Huancheng North Road 1 10 to the new teaching building at the southern end of Xincheng Avenue. In order to overcome the bottleneck of the old school site, the Cixi Municipal Government and the Municipal Education Bureau plan to rebuild in different places.
In September 2004, Hushan Middle School moved into the new campus at No.218, Mingzhou West Road, Cixi City.
