Influenced by Wang Yangming's theory of mind, Gannan especially thinks that transforming Feng Shui can revitalize the imperial examination. There are more than 40 ancient pagodas in Gannan, which have been rebuilt since Ming and Qing Dynasties. Almost all of these pagodas are Wenfeng Pagoda and Shuikou Tower, which can fill gaps, block gas and suppress water disasters, and meet people's expectations for prosperity. These towers are called feng shui towers. These Feng Shui pagodas all have their own names, but the pagoda in Ningdu is clearly called Shuikou Tower.
Shuikou Tower is a key cultural relic protection unit in Jiangxi Province. Shuikou Tower, standing by the Meijiang River in Ningdu, has a magnificent appearance and exquisite structure. This ancient pagoda, which was built in Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in Qing Dynasty, was completely restored on 1996. It is a pavilion-style brick tower with a height of 39 meters and a bottom circumference of 34.56 meters. This is a very magical tower. Visitors can climb from the center of the tower to the top of the tower without having to take the repeated road. For example, when two people climb a tower by themselves, they will never meet in the tower, but only when they climb to the top. Shuikou Tower, with seven floors and eight sides, is engraved with bagua relief on the bottom eight sides. Ancient gossip has the function of indicating geographical orientation. The eight directions of Shuikou Tower were perfectly described by the ancients in four words, namely: Yun Qi, Gan Yuan, Kanshuijing, Genzi Lingxiao, Zhenjiao Tengjiang, Xunbang Fang Chuan, Dawn Cuoxiu, Wei Kun Di Wei and Feng. The rushing Meijiang River just flows to Shuikou Tower and turns around the tower.
People in Ningdu say that their Shuikou Tower is full of mysteries, mysteries and legends. Whether these stories are accidental or coincidental is unknown. I will write these legends as follows. ?
Shuikou Tower, the capital of Ningdu, which was built in the 20th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1592), was built at the initiative of the then county magistrate Mo Likui. It is said that the donors are surnamed Peng, Huang and Han respectively. Peng contributed most to the completion of the tower. According to legend, Peng lives by fishing. One day, he dreamed that seven people were kidnapped and asked him for help. Peng thinks this dream is a bit odd. The next day, I went to my dream place, but I didn't see anyone in the open field at all. Instead, I saw seven frogs tied by ropes on the river bank. Peng is a very kind person. He felt sorry for the seven frogs, so he untied them and set them free. The seven released frogs knew that they were lined up in a unified line and bowed to Peng before skipping away. Peng who released the frog went fishing as usual. After casting a net all day, he didn't catch any fish. It was dark before he put a clay pot on the internet. Fishermen have a custom that they can't go fishing empty-handed, even fish and shrimp have to take their nets home. Peng looked at the basin and was very unhappy. He thought, OK, I'll take it home and make a pot of chicken. After returning home, Peng asked his wife to feed the chickens in this basin. My wife was surprised to find that when she fed the chicken, the broken rice bran skin in this basin was always full, and the chicken could not finish it. The clever wife tried to put a handful of rice in the basin, and the next day the basin was full of rice. The wife tried to put more copper coins, and the pot was full of copper coins the next day. The couple realized that this was a cornucopia, a treasure given by the rescued Seven Immortals.
At one time, Meijiang in Ningdu was flooded every year. Some feng shui masters have said that as long as a tower is built at the exit of Meijiang River, disasters can be turned into blessings and wealth can be accumulated. Just as the county magistrate called on the people to donate money to build the tower, the kind couple thought it might be providence, and such money should be used to do good for everyone. So, Peng and his wife used these inexhaustible money to build this Shuikou Tower. When the tower is built on the third floor, it will always collapse if it is tilted, and it will never reach the fourth floor. Some people who know the mystery say that the tower needs the treasure of the town tower to be built. What treasures can a fisherman have? The couple buried the cornucopia at the bottom of the tower. Strange to say, this tower has been buried in this treasure, and it can really be erected to build a fourth floor. However, the Peng couple were unable to rebuild the tower.
This legendary process touched Zeng and Liao, who went wave after wave and finally built this magnificent Shuikou Tower. To this day, people in Ningdu are still saying that there is a cornucopia hidden under their Shuikou Tower, so their hometown can become a land of plenty and enjoy the reputation of literature and poetry.
Shuikou Tower has a history of more than 400 years and was rebuilt once in the Qing Dynasty. 1996, Ningdu County decided to rebuild the ancient pagoda that has experienced vicissitudes. When Shuikou Tower, the capital of Ningdu, was built, it was said that a bizarre story happened.
Putting things in pagodas has been a custom of Hakkas for thousands of years. The construction team for rebuilding Ningdu Shuikou Tower is Fujian Quanzhou Ancient Construction Company. The builders who have heard of the origin of this ancient pagoda think that the treasure of the ancient pagoda is buried at the bottom of the pagoda, so they are very casual when removing the sundries at the top of the pagoda. Before the ancient pagoda was repaired, there were seven intertwined beef tendon trees at the top of the tower, which were lush and pointed to the sky. After slashing trees, the builders dug up a bronze statue with a sword in hand and a ribbon on the top of the tower with a hoe. This unexpected discovery attracted the attention of the builders. They really made three ceramic bottles, which are called clean bottles in Buddhism. The clean bottle contains grain, and under the clean bottle are ancient coins arranged according to gossip. Boss He, the contractor, knew that this was a pile of sacred objects, and immediately took off his suit and bag very devoutly and returned to his residence. Boss He, who is quite scheming, wants to bring these antiques back to his hometown in order to bring good luck to his family. However, an unexpected change completely changed the original intention. When he goes to bed at night, Boss He covers the quilt with a suit wrapped in cultural relics during the day as usual. He sleeps with a light bulb hanging from his head. In the dead of night, the light bulb suddenly caught fire, and its sparks scattered on the suit, burning a big hole in a good suit and burning He's quilt a little. He jumped up and knelt outside, kowtowed to the sky, and said that the gods would forgive and calm down. Early the next morning, he called the county museum and asked the county to receive the cultural relics of these towers. At that time, a grand sacrifice ceremony was held, and this pile of cultural relics at the top of the tower was solemnly handed over to the county museum. ?
Speaking of the reconstruction of Ningdu Shuikou Tower, the then general manager of the project, Boss He, also experienced such a thing: a young technician of this construction team felt ridiculous when he saw these phenomena and said, "I don't believe in any god at all." At 1 1 that night, the technician suddenly jumped out of bed, danced and screamed hysterically, and didn't stop making noise until after 1 in the morning and fell asleep normally. The next day, someone asked him why he did this last night, and he said it was in a dream. Who knows the next night 1 1, he had another attack for two hours like last night. In this way, after a week in a row, the young man seemed to be seriously ill and the whole person faded. Boss He worried about human life and bought many sacrifices and incense sticks, asking young people to sincerely apologize. Exhausted by this irresistible strange behavior, young people did it according to Hakka folk customs. Strange to say, from that night on, the cabin was calm again. ?
Legend has it that one day at the end of the restoration of the ancient pagoda, another thing happened. A young mud master in the construction team who hasn't read any books shouted uncharacteristically, I am the third prince. Give me a pen quickly. Having experienced several storms, he dared not neglect, and immediately found a pen for the mud master. I saw the mud master pick up the pen and brush off a long paragraph of text. The mud master himself was surprised at how there were such beautiful words at the moment. The legend of Ningdu people probably refers to the time when the pagoda was built at the spire, the type and quantity of offerings at the time of sacrifice, the placement of the statue of the three princes, the gossip position of coins and so on. At this time, many people present realized that the statue dug up at the top of the tower that day was called Three Princes, a Buddha who saved peace by exorcising evil spirits. Ningdu County later copied a statue of "Three Princes" according to its shape. This replica is now placed at the entrance of Shuikou Tower for the use of tourists who climb the tower to worship, while its original is put back at the top of the tower.
The top of Ningdu Shuikou Tower is a big iron cover. Generally, it is a time-consuming and laborious project to connect the tower cover weighing several hundred kilograms to the pin of the tower base. According to folk customs, the county also specially invited a good opportunity to connect the tower cover. Boss He said that he built the top of the tower according to the time written by the mud master that day, which was a whole hour earlier than the time when the county invited candidates. It was a great success when the tower was built. As soon as the tower cover was covered, it began to rain cats and dogs. The leaders of the county came that day, and they were still worried about how to construct in such a heavy rain. When I reached the top of the tower, I found that the top of the tower had been firmly covered. Of course, only a few people know the secret of this early operation. ?
The leaders in charge of the county attach great importance to the restoration of this ancient pagoda in Ningdu, and no one can use the funds for tower construction for other purposes. At the end of the construction of the ancient pagoda, there was a shortage of money from Daping to the foot of the pagoda in 88. According to the calculation in the first step, it needs 100 yuan, which is just 8800 yuan. County leaders took the lead in donating money at that time, and received a donation of 9 100 yuan in a short time, more than originally planned. 300 yuan, the designer put this 300 yuan in front of the tower and made a double dragon ball relief. This is a step made up of pure personal donations, and every step is full of sincere prayers and expectations of donors. For thousands of years, the most willing thing for Hakka people to donate money is to build bridges, roads, towers and temples. A boss of a private enterprise in Ningdu also donated 8,000 yuan to erect two stone tablets in front of the tower. The meritorious monument that people see now and the inscription of the then county party secretary were donated by Mr. Zeng.
From 65438 to 0997, with the efforts of all parties, the reconstruction of Ningdu Shuikou Tower was completed at a rapid speed. Luo Zeng, director of National Cultural Heritage Administration, boarded Shuikou Tower, the capital of Ningdu. The words made by this knowledgeable scholar filled Ningdu people with reverie and excitement: "Within one year, Ningdu will produce a deputy prime minister-level cadre."
1998, after the restoration of the ancient pagoda in Ningdu, many leading cadres of Ningdu nationality were promoted one after another, and some took the leadership positions at the deputy county level. Ningdu people also summed up a phenomenon that they are very proud of-in the past two years, every county in the southern section of the Beijing-Kowloon Line was led by Ningdu people. They said it was because of the magical charm of Shuikou Tower, a thousand-year-old pagoda. Ningdu people still have greater expectations, because some philosophers have predicted that there will be many talents in their hometown, and they expect more outstanding leaders to rise in their hometown.
