Matters needing attention in artificial precipitation enhancement:
1. The equipment used in the operation is WR-98 special artificial precipitation enhancement rocket, and the operation is dangerous. No one is allowed to watch within the security alert range of the job site.
2. In the operation area, if you find the rocket wreckage or faulty bombs in the artificial precipitation enhancement operation, please immediately report to the weather modification office of Suzhou Meteorological Bureau or the local police station, and you shall not dismantle, move or store them without authorization; If you find rocket residue landing, please pay attention to avoid it.

The commonly used operation methods of weather modification include airplanes, rockets, anti-aircraft guns, ground smoke bombs, etc.
1. Aircraft: suitable for continuous precipitation enhancement of stratiform precipitable clouds;
2. When the rocket loaded with catalyst is launched to a predetermined position in the high-altitude cloud, the catalyst will automatically ignite, burn along the way, "line source diffusion" and spread with the wind.
3. Anti-aircraft guns are mainly used for cumulus artificial precipitation enhancement or hail cloud hail suppression;
4. The ground combustion furnace is often used for topographic cloud operation in mountainous areas.
The most common artificial precipitation enhancement operations are divided into Leng Yun catalytic operation and warm cloud catalytic operation according to the nature of clouds.
Artificial precipitation enhancement needs three kinds of catalysts: icing agent, refrigerant and hygroscopic agent.
Three conditions for clouds to form rainfall:

3. Sufficient water vapor
Take Leng Yun catalytic operation as an example:
1. Spray silver iodide ice-forming agent or refrigerants such as dry ice and liquid nitrogen into the cloud through operation equipment; A large number of artificial ice cores are produced, and the ice cores are converted into ice;
2. Crystals and ice crystals absorb water vapor, condense and grow, and collide;
3. When the ice crystals grow to a certain extent, they will fall and melt into raindrops in warm areas, which will cause cloud precipitation or increase precipitation intensity.
