"Eleventh" has arrived, and my father will finally take me to travel to Xixia. I am very excited.
Before six in the morning, my father drove to Xixia. The car drove into the highway and gradually there was a mountain beside it. Some towering into the sky, some just a boulder. They rolled like a long dragon. After a long journey of more than two hours, they finally got off the Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway.
Xixia county is surrounded by mountains, and no road is straight. Even my father's cell phone sometimes has no signal, but I don't care. There are countless scenic spots in Xixia, including Laojun Cave, Longtan Gully, Underground River, Dinosaur Garden, savage valley, etc ... Among them, the underground river impressed me the most.
When we got there, we put on our helmets, life jackets, boarded the yacht and set off. This is a cave with water in it and bats at the top, which is naturally formed. The hole is high but narrow, so it is not easy for the boat to row. There are many colorful lights and long light lines in the cave. Bats are flying around on it. It's horrible. There are many stones around like people and animals. The ferry slowly reached the shore, but there was still some distance from the exit. The road on the shore is not easy to walk. It is full of wooden ladders, which are very steep and will fall down if you are not careful. Pay attention to your head as well as your feet. Sometimes I will bump into a bat that suddenly flies, and sometimes I will bump into a big stone that is in the way. After walking for more than ten minutes, I finally reached the exit, so I returned to the shore along the iron cable bridge at the exit.
Then we went to Longtan ditch. There are many stones with different postures in Longtan ditch. One of them is called "Eight Rings Peeping Bath". It is said that Bajie peeked at Chang 'e taking a bath. The appearance is very vivid. There is also a stone called "the tortoise looking at the moon", which is the tortoise that carried Tang Priest across the river in Journey to the West. It begged the Buddha to make it immortal, and it is still here looking forward to returning to immortality. There are also "Crocodiles Absorb Water", "There are holes in the sky" and "water curtain cave", which make people marvel at the magic of nature.
In a blink of an eye, the sun went down and we had to go back reluctantly.
Xixia is really interesting. Do come again when you have time.
