Introduction to Sixian gongs and drums
Sixian gongs and drums are an ancient Han percussion instrument. Its formation and development have gone through the following stages: in the first stage, "Ganpai" was separated from "cutting grass and gongs and drums" and merged with folk tones to form "playing gongs and drums"; In the second stage, the music of Qupai opera was absorbed by local gongs and drums from the beginning, forming a new form of "drumming"; The third stage is the inflow of banqiang drama music, and the so-called "Sixian gongs and drums" are formed by the integration of the above-mentioned "drum music".
