Guanzhuang Town is located in the southeast of Yuanling County, bordering Taoyuan County in the east, Nanmupu Township in the west, Dujiaping Township in the south, Qinglang Township, Chenjiatan Township and Wuqiangxi Town in the north. Guanzhuang Town is 82km away from Yuanling in the west, 60km away from Taohuayuan Scenic Area in the east and 90km away from Taoyuan County, just at the midpoint of the two counties. It is the east gate of Yuanling County and the north gate of Huaihua City, and is known as the "gateway to western Hunan".
