Pingyi County is a county under the jurisdiction of Linyi City, Shandong Province, which is located in the southeast of Shandong Province, the west of Linyi City and the southwest of Yimeng Mountain Area. Total area 1825 square kilometers. Pingyi County governs 13 towns, 1 street and 1 provincial economic development zones (in 2020).

The resident population of Pingyi County is 892,276 (as of 2020 1 1.00). On September 8th, 20021year, it was selected into the pilot list of distributed photovoltaic development on roofs of counties (cities, districts) in China by the Comprehensive Department of National Energy Administration. Pingyi County was formally established in April of 1946 and named after Factor Town. 1960 formed the present layout.

Brief introduction of Shandong

The mountains in the middle of Shandong are raised, with low-lying and flat southwest and northwest, and gentle hills in the east.
