The predecessor of Beining Railway was called Jingfeng Railway and the Ministry of Communications of Beiyang Government. 1928, Feng Bing was defeated, and on June 4th, Zhang was killed while retreating to Fengtian. On June 15, Nanjing National Government announced "successful reunification" and renamed it Beiping, Beijing, thus marking the demise of Beiyang regime, and the Beijing-Fengjing Railway was renamed Feng Ping Railway. On April 2 1929, Fengtian and Fengtian were renamed as Liaoning Province and Shenyang City respectively.
