Zhang Kaili, born in Nanguan District, Changchun City, Jilin Province, China, 1962, graduated from Jilin Art Institute. Zhang Kaili's husband is writer Zhang Jianquan. The two met while filming in Shenzhen on 1995, and entered the marriage hall the next year. 1997, daughter Zhang Keying (Coco) was born. Their marriage relationship continues to this day, so Zhang Kaili and Lan Tianye are not married.

Lan Tianye 1944 devoted himself to drama, and directed many plays as a director, such as New Man in Mountain Village, Home, Sword of King Wu and so on.
