What is the structure of the bell tower?
The bell tower is a wooden structure, which is a typical architectural art style of Ming Dynasty. Deep and wide, there are three rooms each, showing the architectural form of "double eaves and three drops of water" and "four corners and one roof". The building is divided into two floors, the lower floor has double roofs, the upper floor has double roofs, the four corners are paved with blue glazed tiles, and each floor has a bucket arch for cutting landscape and painting.

There are Ming-column cloisters, painted windows and carved doors at the four corners of the two floors. In particular, each floor is decorated with classical and beautiful patterns such as bucket arches, caissons, wood carvings and paintings. It is a magnificent building with strong national characteristics, and it is also the largest and best-preserved bell tower that China can see now.

Looking from the steps on the north side of the bell tower, the ceiling of the lobby on the first floor has a circular painted pattern of "Wandaoxiaguang" and a painted ceiling of 184 composed of flowers of four seasons, which is bright and vivid.

On the west wall of the lobby on the first floor, there are two stone tablets embedded. One is a monument inscribed by Shaanxi Governor Zhang Yu 1740 on "Rebuilding An Bell Tower". The other is the tablet "Song of the Bell Tower Moving East" written by Gong Maoxian, governor of Shaanxi Province, after the bell tower moved east.

These two monuments describe the incredible overall relocation of Xi 'an Bell Tower, a huge building.
