In addition, both men and women who apply for marriage must also submit the pre-marital health examination certificate issued by the hospital designated by the marriage registration authority. China citizens and foreigners applying for marriage registration must apply to the marriage registration authority with relevant documents and photos of themselves. After examination by the marriage registration authority, those who meet the provisions of China's Marriage and Family Law and the Ministry of Civil Affairs on foreign-related marriage registration shall be granted registration, and the registration formalities shall be completed within one month, and a marriage certificate shall be issued.
