Qiao Dafang has a wide variety of operas and is good at modern and traditional operas. No matter how ugly the shamao, clown and colorful Dan are, he can handle it with ease. Among them, the most representative are the beggar's benevolence and righteousness in Eight Clothes and Zhao Fei in Loyalty and Protecting the Country. Qiao Dafang not only plays well, but also writes well. He has been a member of the Provincial Writers Association for a long time.

He has created more than 30 comedies, including clown dramas such as Touch the Clock to Know the Thief, Laizi to Save Aunt, and comic sketches such as Selling, Joe's Clever Break of Hearts, as well as humorous allegro such as Quitting Smoking, Sweeping the Yellow, Beggars and Ode to the Bell Tower.
