Weibei Village is located in the middle of Tang Wei Town, xiangcheng district, surrounded by the township, with convenient transportation. There are four horizontal roads (Xinyan Avenue, Dai Yu Road, Wei Xing Street and Weizhong Road) and four vertical roads (227 Provincial Highway, Yuhuan Road, Pan Yu Road and Pan Yu Road) in the village, and eight main roads extend in all directions. In May 2003, the original Weibei Village, Yanghe Village, Weijing Village and Weidong Village were merged to form a new Weibei Village. The village has a total area of 4.8 square kilometers and a registered population of 3,949, including 200 in party member, 23 in grass-roots party branches and 9 village cadres. In recent years, our village has successively won the honorary titles of "Jiangsu Health Village", "Suzhou Civilized Unit", "Suzhou Twin Pigeon Demonstration Village", "Suzhou Civilized Village" and "Suzhou Pioneer Village".

Near Weibei Village are Suzhou Gardens (Suzhou Classical Gardens), Qilishan Pond, Rose Garden of Shengze Lake Leisure Resort, Suzhou China Flower Botanical Garden, Lotus Pond Moonlight Wetland Park and other tourist attractions. There are some special products such as Xiangcheng Piano Bow, Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crab, Taiping Ship Model, Supai Brick Carving and Xiangcheng Piano Bow.
