Shandong Bangzi is a traditional local opera popular in southwest and central Shandong Province. Also known as "High-profile Bangzi", it is short for "High-profile" or "High-profile Bangzi". Because of its high-pitched and agitation characteristics, it is called "Bangzi Opera".
2. Two strings
Erstringed instruments, also called "Big Five Tones" by the masses, are one of the traditional operas in China. Mainly popular in local operas in western Shandong. Because Hu Si, an accompaniment instrument, wears a ponytail on every two strings, people in popular areas call it "two strings and five tones" according to dialect habits.
3. Lu Opera
Lu Opera, also known as disguised dulcimer and Shaanxi Opera, is a national intangible cultural heritage. It is one of the eight major operas in China and the most representative local opera in Shandong. Popular in most areas of Shandong University and parts of Jiangsu, Anhui and Northeast provinces. It originated in the Yellow River Delta in the northeast of the mountain and evolved from Qin Shu.
4. Donglu Drum
Dongluogu is a traditional rap art in Binzhou and Weifang, Shandong Province. Divided into Binzhou East Road Drum and Zhucheng East Road Drum. Zhucheng East Road Drum is called Zhucheng Drum for short, and its predecessor is Dongkou Drum (called Xiaodongkou for short), which evolved from Xiaodongkou.
5. Liuqin Opera
Liuqin Opera is a local traditional opera in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, and it is one of the national intangible cultural heritages. Liuqin Opera, also known as "Liuqinshu", was produced in Linyi and Zaozhuang of Shandong Province in the late Qing Dynasty, and was officially named Liuqin Opera in 1953.
