Jingning Confucian Temple is a national key cultural relic protection unit.

Jingning Confucian Temple is located on the campus of Jingning No.1 Middle School. It was built in the 21st year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1543), with an original construction area of 18076 square meters. The Confucian Temple faces south, with Dacheng Hall, Jiyun Gate and Shixian Temple Gate as the axis, forming the main building, with wing rooms on both sides from Dacheng Hall to Jiyun Gate. The whole building complex is symmetrical in layout, distinct in primary and secondary, unique in shape and magnificent in momentum, and it is a representative building of the Ming Dynasty. 1993 was listed as a provincial cultural relics protection unit by Gansu provincial government in March.
