What does blown paper look like?
Blow-molded paper is a kind of thin plastic foam paper similar to foam plastic. The raw materials are mostly expanded polystyrene, which is mostly used to produce low-density polyethylene bottles. The shape is as follows:

The raw materials of blow-molded paper and KT board are expanded polystyrene, but different components and production methods have different properties. Blow-molded paper has a lot of fillers. After extrusion, it is blown into a tube and then pressed into thin sheets. Therefore, after mercerizing, the surface is easy to split into two layers, which is softer than KT board and has different strength in different directions. KT board basically has no filler, which is much thicker than blow-molded paper and has higher strength. If peeled, the strength difference in different directions is very small.

manufacturing process

Blow molding hollow blow molding, a rapidly developing plastic processing method. A tubular plastic parison obtained by extrusion or injection molding of thermoplastic resin is placed in a combined mold when it is hot (or heated to a softened state), and compressed air is introduced into the parison immediately after the mold is closed, so that the plastic parison expands and adheres to the inner wall of the mold, and various hollow products are obtained after cooling and demoulding.

The manufacturing process of blow-molded film is very similar to that of blow-molded hollow products in principle, except that no mold is used. From the classification of plastic processing technology, the molding process of blown film is usually included in extrusion.
