Is plastic bottled water really poisonous?
According to Dr. Chen from the School of Materials of Nanchang University, plastics are mainly composed of polypropylene, pt, polyethylene and other components, which will not cause harm to human body. But in the process of making plastic bottles, manufacturers usually add fillers and plasticizers, which are composed of macromolecules and micromolecules. Among them, small molecules are very active, and will dissolve into water quickly after contact with hot water, which will cause harm to human body after drinking this water. At the same time, the gas emitted by plastic bottles filled with hot water is also harmful to human body. In particular, some plastics with bad ingredients are more harmful to the human body. After toxic chemicals enter the human body, they will slowly penetrate into the human blood, and symptoms will soon appear. If this happens for a long time, it will seriously endanger people's health, especially children with weak resistance. Dr. Chen believes that condiments such as wine, vinegar and soy sauce in plastic bottles are harmless if they are occasionally or excessively loaded, but if they are used repeatedly for a long time to hold kitchen condiments or alcohol, they will also have adverse effects on human health, with symptoms such as dizziness, headache, nausea, loss of appetite and memory loss. Dr. Chen also suggested that we should minimize or avoid using plastic containers to hold all kinds of food in our daily life. Especially when heating food in microwave oven, don't wrap food in ordinary plastic bags for convenience, but try to use special film bags to prevent them from endangering human health.
