Baokang County belongs to Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, located in the northwest of Hubei Province and southwest of Xiangyang City. Xiangfan in the east, Yichang in the south, Shennongjia in the west and Wudang Mountain in the north. It is the only mountainous county in Xiangyang. The main vein of Jingshan runs east-west. The South River system north of Jingshan Mountain flows into the Han River, and the Qushui River system south of Jingshan Mountain flows into the Yangtze River.
