From 197 1 to 1977, Abu Carian lived in Lebanon with his parents as a teenager. In Beirut, he attended an Armenian school, studied French and English at the same time, and studied dance in the Ronnie Dance Company there. 1977, his father participated in the Lebanese war. 15 years old, Abu Carian moved back to Paris with his mother. A few years later, he moved to new york, where he continued to study dance and acting in Antranik, and then he moved to LA. There, he became a very successful dramatic actor, and cooperated with arianna Mnushkin for 18 years, becoming a legend of Sun Drama Club. His charming performance in Greek tragedies attracted the whole world. He also directed several plays, including The Lost of Love by Shakespeare and The Last Song of Troy by Aeschylus.
In 200 1 year, for his performance in Above the Moon, Abu Carian won the Moliere Award, the highest prize for French dramatists. From 1993, Abukarian and Catherine Schaub, the wife of the director and actor, started to run their own theater Tera (Theater Espace Recherche Acteur) in Paris. There, he has been directing all kinds of classical and modern dramas and actively participating in performances. From 2005 to 2006, he was just brought to Los Angeles by an actor to direct Shakespeare's play "No Work".
