/kloc-brass bands appeared in many countries in Europe and America at the beginning of the 0/9th century. In modern times, although there are no certain rules for the instrument combination and band organization of such bands, they are generally composed of cornet, saxophone, trombone and tuba. Brass band competitions are often held in Britain, and the standard is set at 24 people (plus percussion).
