The luminous time of the glow stick can range from 30 seconds to 48 hours. The luminous time of the luminous rod is inversely proportional to the ambient temperature (that is, the higher the ambient temperature, the shorter the luminous time of the luminous rod) and the initial brightness of the luminous rod (that is, the higher the brightness when the luminous rod is just folded, the shorter the luminous time). According to these characteristics of the glow stick, we can put the glow stick in a low temperature environment (such as refrigerator and freezer) to inhibit the chemical reaction of the two liquids in the glow stick, and then take it out and continue to use it.
The liquid in the glow stick is inedible and has a certain viscosity. If leaked: it is easy to pollute furniture, floor, clothes, skin, etc. If the above situation occurs, it must be cleaned up in time; If the liquid in the glow stick enters the eyes, it must be washed with clear water or treated by a doctor. Therefore, it is forbidden to break the plastic pipe of the light stick with a knife or scissors; Do not twist the light stick to prevent the liquid in the light stick from leaking.
