If there is an S-terminal, you'd better use this port, and the picture quality will be better. Select the TV signal card to input AV status, and the DV player will play it, then click the record button on the TV card operation interface. The essence of the acquisition process is the process of recording programs. This is the simplest method, but the video effect is not the best, and there is no time code. The following IEEE 1394 video capture methods should be adopted as far as possible.
At present, IEEE 1394 (also called "firewire" or i-Link) on DV has become its standard transmission interface (there is also a USB interface on DV, but it is not used to transmit video, but to transmit photos or be used as a webcam). This requires that our computer must also be equipped with an IEEE 1394 acquisition card (some computer motherboards have integrated this interface). If you want to edit video images with high quality in the future, I suggest you choose DV AVI file mode. The video collected in this way is uncompressed and original, and has a very high image quality. After a series of editing, the image quality is processed. After a series of editing processing, you can also record back to DV tape, and the image quality is also not lost. The premise of collecting in DV AVI mode is that you must have enough space. Under normal circumstances, if a DV tape is collected in SP mode, it can take 60 minutes of images, and if the 60 minutes of images are collected in Dv AVI mode, it needs to occupy about 12.4GB of hard disk space. For ordinary home users, if your hard disk space is limited, you can save the edited video as VCD, and you can choose MPEG compression format to collect video materials, which will greatly save storage space. For example, if you capture a 60-minute DV video in MPEG mode, it only takes up about 650MB, which is exactly the capacity of a VCD. The following two commonly used (and relatively easy to use) software to illustrate the process of video acquisition.
I. IJlead VideoStudio software
This is the most common nonlinear video acquisition and editing software. At present, the highest version is version 8.0. Its acquisition interface is basically the same, and the picture shows Huisheng Huiying version 6.0. First, connect the computer to the DV machine reliably with 1394 line, and turn on the power of the DV machine. At this time, the computer will automatically recognize and have a prompt tone, and put the DV in the playback state. Run the AV 6.0 software, open its main interface, click the first item "Start" in the toolbar, and click "New Project" in the item that appears to open the interface of Figure 1, and you can choose the storage location of the collection files. The default address is the IJleadVideoStudio folder built by myself in my document. Then choose the format of the collection file, such as DV AVI DVD, VCD, SVCD, AVI, etc. , all in PAL format (TV format in China), and this software was selected when it was installed. As we said before, if conditions permit, try to use the original DV AVI format (display the specific audio and video data of the selected format in the box on the right), and press "OK" to enter the "capture" boundary. In the capture interface of fig. 2, usually not much equipment is needed. If there are multiple video input devices, you can select the appropriate device in "Driver" and click the icon "Capture Video" with the camera to enter the video capture state (usually red capture mode). At this time, the number behind the "snapshot frame" is changing rapidly. If you want to stop, just press the stop button in the black box. At this time, press the relevant storage path to see the newly collected video file, and then enter the post-editing program.
Second, Windows Movie Maker software
In fact, in windows xP, there is a video editing software that is very suitable for families and individuals, and it is also free software that does not cost money. This is Windows Movie Maker (hereinafter referred to as WMM). Now the highest version is 2. 1. WMM has existed in windows Me/2000, but its function is still relatively simple. By the time of Windows XP, WMM was already very powerful. Of course, before running this software, you should also connect the DV player to the computer and put the DV player in the playback state (the position marked VCR or VTR). Find wMM in the attachment of the program and the interface will appear. On the File menu, click Capture Video, or in the Movie task pane, under Capture Video, click Capture from a video device. Click Next, and then click the corresponding DV camera in the available devices in the video capture device interface. Click "Next" again. In the Enter the file name of the captured video box, enter the file name of the video file you captured. Then, in the Select a location to save the captured video box, select a storage location for the video, or click Browse to select another location. Click Next, and on the Video Settings interface, select the video settings you want to use to capture video and audio. We also recommend DV AVI format. Continue with "Next". On the Capture Method menu, click Automatically capture the entire tape. The tape in DV camera will start to rewind automatically, and the acquisition will start automatically and end at the end of the tape. If you click "Manually capture some videos" on the "Capture Mode" menu, another interface will appear, and you can manually select to capture any clip in DV. Use the control keys on the DV camera, or use the "DV camera control" in the computer to find the video and audio you want to capture from the tape, click "Start Capture", the tape will play automatically and the capture will begin.
During the acquisition process, if you want to divide the video into smaller clips, please select the "Create clips after completing the wizard" check box; To prevent speakers from playing audio during video capture, select the Mute Speakers check box. To automatically stop capture after a period of time, select the capture time limit check box, and then type or select the length of time for the capture operation. At any time, if you want to stop capturing, you can press the "Finish" key to close the "Video Capture Wizard", and the captured content will be automatically imported into the folder with the specified video file name. If your camera is an emulator or other analog signals, you can also use a DV camera to digitally import its contents into the computer (DV cameras generally support this function), that is, connect the analog camera or VCR to the DV camera through video, and connect the DV camera to the computer with an IEEE 1394 cable. If there is a tape in the DV camera, eject the tape and take it out of the DV camera. Both the DV player and the simulator are placed in the playback position, and the following acquisition steps are exactly the same as DV acquisition.
In addition:
I am a DV player, and I can give you some advice.
1 It is recommended to use Windows XP Professional as the video capture platform and NTFS file system, because FAT32 has a 2GB limit.
2 Don't run other programs when collecting.
3 Collect with IEEE 1394 card.
4. Use a good acquisition software such as Premiere, audio and video.
If you want to make VCD in the future, you can use Japanese TMPGEnc compression software and USB, but it is slow and easy to drop frames.
