It is said that a pair of lovestruck men and women came from two feuding families, and their love was opposed by their own people, so they were forced to flee here, and they both jumped into the sea and turned into two huge stones, always facing each other. Later generations carved the words "Tianya" and "Cape" to commemorate their faithful love. Later, men and women often used "the ends of the earth will always follow" to show their intention.
