Taiziwan Park is located in the southwest corner of West Lake, under the litchi peak of Nanping Mountain. According to Wen Zhuang, the royal family of the Southern Song Dynasty, Jingxian County was named after burying two princes. Taiziwan used to be a lake bay, which was washed away by mountain wind and silted up into a swamp depression. It has been newly developed into a large park with pastoral charm and wild scenery. The planned area is 800,000 square meters, and the first phase was completed and opened on 1989 National Day. The name of Taiziwan began in the Southern Song Dynasty. At that time, it was a repulse bay in the south corner of the West Lake. In the Song Dynasty, the seaside was the burial place of two princes, Wen Zhuang and Jing Xian, hence the name Wanhu. Taiziwan Park was built in July 1988 and basically completed in July 1989. The earliest wedding parks in Hangzhou included "Loyalty" and "Qi Fei". This used to be a dump for dredging silt in the West Lake. In the tourist season, the parking lot at the north gate of the park will be used as an appointment inspection channel, not a parking lot. Please plan the parking route in advance.
