Is the White Pagoda on Qionghua Island in Beihai, Beijing the prospect of Beihai?
The White Pagoda on Qionghua Island in Beihai, Beijing is not the prospect of Beihai. It is a landmark attraction in the North Sea. Built in the eighth year of Shunzhi in the early Qing Dynasty (165 1), it is a Tibetan Lama pagoda. The tower is 35.9 meters high, under the Sheung Wan, and it changes a lot. It is Mount Sumi.

The White Pagoda in Beihai, according to the records of the pagoda-building stone tablet, was approved by the emperor at that time, "those who have lamas in the western regions want to praise the emperor with Buddha, so please set up a pagoda temple to save the people", so they built Ai 'an Temple and White Pagoda. The top of the tower is equipped with a treasure cover and a treasure top, and is decorated with patterns of the sun, the moon and flames to show that "Buddhism" shines like the sun and the moon and shines on the earth forever.

Unlike most bowl-covered pagodas, the inside of this pagoda is hollow, with a Buddhist shrine, a silver box dedicated to Buddhist relics, and a well hidden underground, which contains dry boats, Lama scriptures, clothes and Buddhist relics, as well as textiles, grains, medicines, tea fruits and other tributes.

There is a small hall in front of the tower, which is called "Good Cause Hall". It is a wood-like glazed building with double eaves and a width of 4.4 meters. The top is a circular pavilion-type copper tile with gold plating. The lower floor is square, covered with green glazed tiles and decorated with yellow. There are five three-way cloud lattice fans, four bronze doors and four glazed doors on the front gable.

There used to be a bronze-gilded "Great Wade King Kong" Buddha statue in the temple (the legend is that Manjusri Bodhisattva incarnates 36 hands and 36 eyes), and its common name is "Zhenhai Buddha". It is said that there is a sea eye under the White Pagoda, which can be used to suppress the flood. The Buddha statue was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution. The inner wall of the temple is inlaid with 455 glazed tiles with Buddha statues.
