First, play the video directly.
1) Run the PPT program and open the slide that needs to be inserted into the video file.
2) Move the mouse to the menu bar, click the "Insert" option and execute the "Insert Movie File" command from the open drop-down menu.
3) In the file selection dialog box that pops up, select the video file prepared in advance, and click Add to insert the video file into the slide show.
4) Select the video file with the mouse, move it to a suitable location, and then click the [Play] button directly to play the video according to the screen prompts, or select the automatic play mode.
5) In the process of playing, you can move the mouse to the video window, and click to pause playing the video. If you want to continue playing, just click with the mouse again.
Second, insert the control to play the video.
This method is to insert the video file into the slide as a control, and then play the video by modifying the properties of the control. In this way, there are a variety of optional operation buttons, and the playback process can be completely controlled by itself, which is more convenient and flexible. This method is more suitable for the situation that the picture, text and video in PPT courseware are on the same page.
1) Run the PPT program and open the slide that needs to be inserted into the video file.
2) Move the mouse to the menu bar, click the View option, select the Control Toolbox from the open drop-down menu, and then select the [Other Controls] button from the lower menu.
3) In the control options interface that opens later, select the "WindowsMediaPlayer" option, and then move the mouse to the editing area of PPT to draw a rectangular area with appropriate size, which will automatically become the playing interface of WindowsMediaPlayer.
4) Select the playback interface with the mouse, then click the right mouse button and select the "Properties" command from the pop-up shortcut menu to open the "Properties" window of the media playback interface.
5) In the Properties window, enter the detailed path and file name of the video file to insert the slide correctly in the File Name setting. In this way, when the slide is open, you can play the specified video through the [Play] control key.
6) In order to better organize the inserted video files with the slides, you can also modify the positions of the control bar, the playback slider bar and the video property bar in the property setting interface.
7) In the process of playing, you can control the video through buttons such as [Play], [Stop], [Pause] and [Adjust Volume] in the media player.
Third, insert the object that plays the video.
This method inserts a video file as an object into a slide show. Different from the above two methods, it can choose the video clip that needs to be played at will and then play it.
1) Open the slide to be inserted into the video file and click the Insert/Object command to open the Insert Object dialog box.
2) After selecting the "New" option, select the "Video Clip" option in the corresponding "Object Type" setting column and click [OK].
3)PPT automatically switches to the video attribute setting state, executes the "Insert Clip /Windows Video" command, and inserts the prepared video file into the slide show.
4) Execute the "Edit/Option" command to open the option setting box, where you can set whether the video needs to be played in a loop or whether to go back after playing, and click [OK] to return to the video property setting interface.
5) Click the [In Point] button and [Out Point] button in the toolbar to reset the starting point and ending point of the video file, so that you can play video clips at will.
6) Click the blank area of the setting interface with the left mouse button to exit the video setting interface and return to the editing state of the slide show. You can also use the preview command to check the editing effect of the video.
