Emei Mountain, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, is managed by Leshan City. It is located in the south of Sichuan Province and the northwest of Leshan City. Located on the southwest edge of Sichuan Basin, it is adjacent to the western Sichuan Plain in the northeast and Liangshan in the southwest. It belongs to subtropical humid monsoon climate, adjacent to 6 districts and counties, with a total area of 1 183 square kilometers.

On June 9, 2020 10, Mount Emei was selected as "the fourth batch of national demonstration cities and counties for ecological civilization construction". Hydrological characteristics

The rivers in Emei Mountain belong to the Dadu River and Qingyi River basins, of which the Dadu River basin covers an area of110/.38 square kilometers.
