I. Submit my valid passport or other valid international travel documents.
Two, submit a certificate issued by the notary office or the competent authority of my country, which is certified by the embassy (consulate) of People's Republic of China (PRC) in that country or the embassy (consulate) of our country in that country.
(a) China citizens must hold:
1, my household registration certificate;
2. The certificate of my name, gender, date of birth, nationality, marital status (unmarried, divorced, widowed), occupation, nature of work, and with whom I applied for marriage shall be issued by the people's government at the county level where my household registration is located or by the organs, schools, institutions and enterprises at or above the county level.
(2) Foreigners must have:
1, my passport or other proof of identity and nationality;
2. The Alien Residence Permit issued by the public security organ, or the identity certificate issued by the foreign affairs department, or the certificate of temporary entry and residence in China;
3. A certificate of marital status issued by a notary public in China and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or an organ authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and the Chinese embassy or consulate in that country, or a certificate of marital status issued by the Chinese embassy or consulate in that country.
(3) Foreigners must have:
1. Proof of identity and nationality of my passport or substitute passport (except stateless persons);
2. Alien residence permit issued by the public security organ;
3. The certificate of my name, gender, date of birth, nationality, marital status (unmarried, divorced, widowed), occupation, nature of work, and with whom I applied for marriage shall be issued by the people's government at the county level where my household registration is located or by the organs, schools, institutions and enterprises at or above the county level. Both men and women applying for marriage must also submit the prenuptial certificate issued by the hospital designated by the marriage registration authority.
Second, the specific procedures of marriage registration with foreigners are basically the same as those of ordinary mainlanders in China, and can also be divided into three stages: application, examination and registration, with certain differences in the application stage.
(1) Applicants for China citizens and foreigners (including foreigners residing in China and temporarily residing in China, foreign Chinese and foreign nationals residing in China) to apply for marriage in China. Both men and women must * * * apply for registration with the marriage registration authority designated by the people's government of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government where one of China citizens is registered. China citizens and foreigners applying for registration shall hold the following documents respectively:
(1) China citizens must have:
① my household registration certificate;
(2) My name, gender, date of birth, nationality, marital status (unmarried, divorced, widowed), occupation and nature of work, and the certificate issued by the people's government at the county level where I live or the organs, schools, institutions and enterprises at or above the county level where I work.
(2) Foreigners must have:
(1) My passport or other identification and nationality certificates;
(2) Alien Residence Permit issued by the public security organ, or identity certificate issued by the foreign affairs department, or temporary entry and residence certificate;
(3) A certificate of marital status issued by a notary office in China certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or an organ authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Chinese embassies and consulates in that country, or a certificate of marital status issued by Chinese embassies and consulates in that country.
(3) Foreign nationals must have:
(1) my passport or identity and nationality certificate replaces my passport (except stateless persons);
② Alien Residence Permit issued by the public security organ;
(3) My name, gender, date of birth, nationality, marital status (unmarried, divorced, widowed), occupation and nature of work, and the certificate issued by the people's government at the county level where I live or the organs, schools, institutions and enterprises at or above the county level where I work. Both men and women applying for marriage must also submit the pre-marital health examination certificate issued by the hospital designated by the marriage registration authority. China citizens and foreigners with complete certificates and meeting the statutory requirements may apply to the marriage registration authority with their own certificates and photos of both men and women. The parties applying for marriage registration shall truthfully provide relevant certificates and certificates to the marriage registration authority, and shall not conceal the true situation.
(2) Examining the marriage registration authority shall examine the application of the parties to find out whether the application for marriage meets the conditions for marriage. If there is any ambiguity, the parties concerned shall be asked and required to provide relevant certification materials when necessary.
(3) Registration
1. The registered marriage registration authority shall immediately register those who meet the conditions for marriage and issue a marriage certificate; A divorced person shall cancel his divorce certificate. However, China citizens and foreigners who apply for registration shall go through the registration formalities and issue marriage certificates within one month after receiving the application. The marriage certificate of a foreign-related marriage shall be affixed with photos of both men and women, and stamped with the special seal for marriage registration of the people's government at or above the county level. When the parties who apply for marriage registration are interfered by the unit or others and cannot obtain the required documents, the marriage registration authority shall register them if it finds that they really meet the conditions for marriage.
2. The marriage registration authority shall not register the applicant in any of the following circumstances:
(1) Under the legal age of marriage;
(2) Involuntary;
(3) Having a spouse;
(4) Belonging to lineal blood relatives or collateral blood relatives within three generations;
(5) Suffering from diseases that are medically considered unsuitable for marriage.
According to the regulations of our government, among the citizens of China, servicemen, diplomats, secret-keeping personnel and other personnel with important secrets, as well as those who are undergoing reeducation through labor and serving sentences, are not allowed to marry foreigners. If the marriage registration authority refuses to register the marriage registration application of the party concerned, it shall explain the reasons in writing. If a party considers that the conditions for marriage registration are met and the marriage registration authority refuses to register, it may apply for reconsideration in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Reconsideration Law. If he refuses to accept the reconsideration, he may bring an administrative lawsuit in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Law. Those who register marriage with foreigners in China generally go through the marriage registration formalities at the marriage registration office where their registered residence is located. At this time, for both parties, in fact, they will review their respective conditions and ask for the actual provision of corresponding documents and materials. These are very important for getting a marriage certificate, so we must pay special attention to them.

Article 1046 Marriage shall be voluntary by both men and women, and it is forbidden for either party to force the other, and no organization or individual may interfere.
Article 1047 The age of marriage shall not be earlier than 22 for men and 20 for women.
1048th lineal blood relatives or collateral blood relatives within three generations are prohibited from getting married.
Article 1049 If both men and women want to get married, they should apply for marriage registration in person at the marriage registration office. Those who meet the requirements of this law shall be registered and issued a marriage certificate. The marriage relationship is established when the marriage registration is completed. Those who have not registered for marriage shall re-register.
Article 1050: After a registered marriage, a woman can become a member of the man's family and a man can become a member of the woman's family according to the agreement of both men and women.
Article 105 1 The marriage is invalid in any of the following circumstances:
(1) Bigamy;
(2) Having a family relationship that prohibits marriage;
(three) did not reach the legal age for marriage.
